Honestly, I won't do invite only sessions if I am doing that stuff. Having people mess with me is half the fun of playing. Come get Simeons car if you can. Beware....I will have an hour or so to spare dedicated to killing anyone that does. If I really wanted money fast, I would just do Rooftop Rumble. It is way better than doing anything else, money wise.

Yeah....I saw that topic about the guy wanted a v2 Baller today...that's ALL I see...that, and Felon GT's, F620's, Sentinels (people will say they see them all the time, which I did, too, in public....)

So true. And it seems like that there are more peds and traffic when you're in a IO session. Can you imagine what public free roam would be like with the traffic that solo has? That would be some serious chaos right there.

I only start in an invite to avoid a potential garage ambush. But doing it for the sole purpose of making money with no interference, I don't see the wrong in that, if that's your motivation.

Can you start yourself in an invite only session and accept jobs from other people and then get back into an invite only session when the job is done? Also, is there a difference between hitting back out of a voting screen and hitting freemode?

I tend to start out in invite, do any freeroam crap I don't want bothered with (paint/change cars, if there's new clothes/guns-check on needed kills for colors. That kinda crap). Open is a good fun when I want to be social, an ass, or even if I'm the target (I know it's part of the game and some days your the windshield, some days the bug).

If you start invite only you wont get job notifications except from friends online. You wont get randoms obviously. You will go back to io if you quit the lobby. Choosing freemode will put all players from that lobby in a freemode session together I think.

 

Myself I will roll around io if I want to mod or find a car. Otherwise public session. Hpv's and armored trucks are relatively boring in io.
