I heard that if you shoot a hooker with a bullet from each gun

a jetpack comes out of their ass.

I've been playing since launch and I've never noticed this. when you think about all these tiny details Rockstar added in this game its pretty disappointing to know that 90% of players just zoom past it in super cars. Definitely gonna slow down and admire Los Santos (until I get a bounty placed on me).

Nope. There is not. Rockstar dont know sh*t about guns. The heavy pistol is a perfect example. No way in hell you can cram 18 rounds of .45 ACP into a mag that will sit flush in a 1911 which is clearly what the heavy pistol is based on. The pistol .50 is another example. Only holds 7+1 in real life. Not 9.

In that case the carbine should jam all the time.

Odd, none of my ARs have any reliability issues

They're clearly not drum magazines. They're just normal box mags. Would need to be way bigger to fit that many rounds.

Why are you guys arguing about accuracy to real-life counterparts?

You actually expect it?

R* doesn't know sh*t about weapons. They honestly just make sh*t up. Its sickening.

Yes, because most other game developers are starting to get their sh*t together and do some proper research when it comes to weapons. The least they could do is get mag capacity right.

Has anyone noticed that R* seems to have toned down the blood and gore ?

Since San Andreas, yes.

I meant even more so since 1.11...

Try emptying a clip into an NPC - there's a distinct lack of blood....

You realize this isn't a simulator, right? I mean, it's Grand Theft Auto, the entire game is a parody of everything.

You also realize that things in this game draw influence from multiple different sources?

Do you also realize that... It doesn't actually matter?

It DOES matter. Asking for something as simple as correct mag capacity on real life life counterparts wouldnt instantly make this game a simulator.

Just because Rockstar bases their weapons off of real guns, doesn't mean they are. If anything, it is just Rockstar's version, with influences from actual guns. Which explains the alternate naming. Heavy Carbine, as opposed to H&K G36 or SMG instead of MP5. Because of that, Rockstar is able to do what they please with the guns. Specs wise. Same goes for the cars.

No, it doesn't.

You know what does matter? Bug fixes and actual content.

Nothing is a carbon copy, nor does everything have to be.
