Adder needs buffing up a bit?

I`ve seen a movie once.. was called Fast and Furious. There, this blond hippie mods a Supra, to the point of smoking a Ferrari, which Supra almost gets eaten alive by a nice black muscle car, driven by a bald dude with a hairy sister (they are rich and stuff, but live in a piece of sh*t house).

 

What my young mind understood from that movie, is how muscle cars are advertised - as easily beating supercars.

 

Will you support me in lobbying for muscle cars to be better than super cars?

Remember, just because the Adder looks like the Veyron doesn't mean it's the same car. It won't have the same engine, handling or 150 radiators that the Veyron has.

 

Wait for the PC release if you want realistic handling for the different cars.

The Adder is also a SAAB concept.......it should not be taken for a 100% Bugatti. Also, the Agera R is faster than the Bugatti. It also gets to high end speeds a lot faster. So that should also be thrown out the window too.

Sorry but I see next to nothing of the SAAB in the Adder, its a completely different shape.

As far as I know the Veyron is marginally faster, I could be wrong on that but I know for a fact it has better acceleration.

The Adder should be 10mph faster overall and half a second faster to 60mph. Does that happen in the game? Nope.

Are people even reading what OP's posts? If the website advertises one thing, but "reality" shows another, surely somethings off, huh?

I've heard something about a speed cap online, that might be the case. Offline cars should be faster. As far as I understood this was due to increased lack if they let the cars reach their top speed?

Still doesn't explain the acceleration though.

But to all the people saying Vacca, Bullet and so on should get an upgrade, because they're underpowered compared to the Veyron - sorry Adder - are you actually serious?

I'll list my counter-arguments:

1. The Adder is a $1 million piece of beast. It's supposed to have some kind of advantage compared to cheaper cars. It's supposed to be exclusive and better overall. (Yes yes, it's not exclusive because people had billions and bought a billion Adder's each, but surely they didn't take this into consideration when designing the game, so there's your explanation for why the Adder should be much better)

2. Judging from the stats, Rockstar has tried to replicate the real-world-performances of the cars that the in-game cars are based on (hope that made sense). Do you guys know how much of a beast a Bugatti Veyron is? - I have no doubt that on a racing track with corners it would lose against.. for example the Koeniggsegg, but on a straight track - a drag race - it would tear it apart. The top speed and acceleration is fierce. They specially designed like 90% of the car, simply because the normal bolts, normal gearboxes, normal breaks, normal cooling system, normal exhaust, normal engine, normal everything would be torn apart in a matter of minutes when that thing was to go to its maximum. There's a reason this car is highly looked upon among car enthusiasts. When Bugatti made this car, they pushed the limits, then pushed them again and then pushed the limits over the limit of the limits. Okay, a little exaggeration. My point is, this car can reach a top speed of whooping 430 km/h in real life, so should it not have a significant gap to the second fastest car in the game? If I recall correctly the Koenigsegg CCX is around 400 km/h. I don't think those 30 km/h are "put" in the game well enough. As said, the Adder is not thaaaat much faster.

If Rockstar tried to make this as realistic as possible and close to the real life cars, I think they could've done better. So I agree with the OP.

But, I also think this game should be as fun as possible, and if one car would totally f*ck the others up, it wouldn't be too well for the game. Kinda like the tank which is almost unstoppable, it's game-ruining at worst. As to the guys who thinks Bullet, Vacca and so on needs a buff, I completely disagree. They shouldn't be anywhere near cars like Adder and Entity, even though they're good cars, those two are at another level.. Kinda like Ronaldo and Messi in football.

A fully modded Adder already breaks the game when going top speed (doesn't allow textures to load properly) so why on Earth should it be made faster?

You're right the Adder should be the fastest car, but its pretty much level with the Entity at the moment and it is meant to accelerate quicker than the Entity too, but it doesn't, its slower.

You're right the Adder should be the fastest car, but its pretty much level with the Entity at the moment and it is meant to accelerate quicker than the Entity too, but it doesn't, its slower.

That game breaking sh*t is dumb, does flying a Lazer break the game? No, and that's a hell of a lot faster than an Adder.

I actually agree. It should accelerate and go faster than the entity in a straight line but it should need more braking distance and have less grip. This is how every other game works with a Veyron, Forza horizon is a great example. That car takes off and goes nuts but is hard to slow down and corner.
