Im 13 but I'm actually mature and i have adult friends that are on on a regular basis and there a higher rank then me but we just kill for fun and laughs not for just no reason.

So I guess it's bad I'm not an adult (15). Hey, at least I'm more mature that most people my age. I swear Sometimes the reason I hate being young is those group of idiots that make us look bad and disrespect adults like kids are the boss...

You will rarely find mature adults on ANY video game frequently. Maturity implies responsibilities, something most players lack.

Surely you must jest, xbox costs less upfront so kids get it for Christmas more often than ps3.

 

He has to be. I was in Gamestop two days ago and a mother was buying her kid a 360 and Minecraft. She told him this will be for Minecraft only. HOLY sh*t?!? :blink: Lady don't you have a computer at home already? Why buy a 360 just for that?

Honestly, 9/10 times that's spot on.

I hear "Nigga" more times in GTA V in 5 minutes than in any Spike Jones flick.

You're probably just some entitled snobby kid sitting in his room complaining about the other players you meet because they aren't as mature and entitled as you because they're better than you at a videogame.

Seriously, what is with the absence of mature adult players and a rather abundance of immature children, adults (which I hate to be racist but are usually black, it's quite obvious by how they speak and sound)

Is there seriously a reason for this? It seems everyone I meet on GTAO is a child and kills me. When I meet a nice player and invite them to a party? They're 12 or 13. Have only once recently met a mature adult, and he is rarely on. (Maybe once a week, and when he is on, I'm not on)

It's kind of depressing, to learn you are playing amongst children on a game where you can get a hooker, rape people, murder innocents and cops, and do everything that would basically cause you to go to jail for the rest of your life (IE: Crash a crop duster into a cargo jet and then crash the cargo jet)

 

I swear, even Battlefield is being taken over by kids, I remember when it never had kids!

 

Oh where oh where has the good days gone? Cartoons on TV are sh*t. And video games have been overrun with kids. Oh where oh where could they be....

Corrected, tho you are right they DO make games for kids as well.

honestly generalizations are stupid.

 

some lobbies are sh*t. some are fairly peaceful. "Find New Session" works in either case.

 

assuming that everyone who drops a N bomb online is black is actually pretty childish...the irony

Kind of true, they are quite a deterrent; but in many, many games, it's not just a lack of mature adults, but often also adults that act immature.

 

 

We should arrange 20+ sessions, mature people only, haha. That would be a dream come true

 

There are "mature" crews out there that only allow adult gamers to join. I was as in a small 35 and up crew for a while for the first couple months.

 

 

I love the logic in here that if a 10 year old is "mature" that it's suddenly ok. No it's not, no child that age should be playing a game like GTA. Now Lego games? That's fine.

the adults are hiding from the kids, i am very open to new opeople, i have no problem with not killing a stranger, and even add him. but since i am 31 i really dont wanna have teenagers in my friendslist, it would be kinda weird., i am not a musician, i dont want teenage fans....

 

 

so thats it. kids dont care who they meet, morons dont care if they meet other morons, but grown ups with no mental issues are trying to avoid this mess of civilization thats crawling around in our beloved games.

Every generation acts like the one before them was the best thing since sliced bread, and the next generation is sh*t.

 

Now you could make the arguement that with technology and media today, its more noticeable.

There is a qoute from a book somewhere... something like "Teens today do nothing but loiter on the streets, spitting and swearing", you see it and think "Yeah! we weren't like that!!" then see the qoute is from 1606 lol....

 

The main difference with "this" generation... is when I was 12, the internet in the home was very new... the type of game you could play was different, and if you said you played internet games in the playground, you would be accused of being homosexual, by the type of kid, that at the time had a new baby brother, who 12 years later became an annoying squeaker on GTA/COD lol...

I find anyone who labels themselves "Mature" is almost always under the age of 21... they are too young to know Mature is something you be not something you do.... :p

 

I also think that being mature is a bit like being funny or a legend... It's not really the type of thing anyone should be labelling themselves as, makes me think that person is a knob.

Video games are mostly popular at younger generations.Thats nothing new.More kids buy the game than 70 years old people.Also,internet lets you say whatever you want without suffering the consequences,so you see a lot of kids doing silly stuff and swearing without caring.Nothing new again.I dont get why people get annoyed or hateful to children.They are children,you cant be bad with children.Some people right here have forgotten their childhood and act like "at his age I wouldnt do that",that child has bad manners and its their parents fault.If your parents were strict with you when you were a kid and you are jealous of todays children freedoms,thats your problem.

Yeah, the kids are annoying to listen to but I just turn chat off. And most of the kids I did hear were doing harmless crap like riding the train or base jumps or car meets. The most annoying players are probably in the 15-21 age range, those are who I mostly hear talking trash and being dumb, racist, and generally deserving of a back to the future abortion. I just need a delorean and a coat hanger. Btw I'm 32 and that wasn't a mature thing to say.

TLDR: We're here, but it's quality not quantity.

 

 

General concencus is, we're old, so likely have girlfriends, wives, work, children, pets, social responsibilities, the list goes on.

 

My time is precious, so it's an hour here or there, mostly to earn some fake $, I session when I can, evenings, sick days, weekends when possible.

 

I also like to play several different games so my time is divided between them. If I have a bad experience on 1 of them, i'll likely spend more time on another. Hence my 3 month absence from GTAO, whilst platooning in WoT, or something else.

 

I'm also a big fan of a good TV series or movie, again, more competition against messign around in GTAO.

Your playing the wrong game if you expected mature adult players. Try Battlefield 4 or anything on PC instead.

 

Edit: Or WoT of course. Anything that requires strategy and thinking, rather than "f*ck it! lets bumrush and grab some giggles on the way!"
