GTA 6 location?

The thing about humor is that it is way better when you actually like the thing that you're making a parody of. Do you think DBZ abridged would hold as much appeal if the people making it hated the source material? Their love for the series makes it so they focus more and can find more weird things to make fun of. Character flaws to pick at.

 

I think the people who wrote the comedy really REALLY hate LA, and that's why the jokes come off as angry and resentful rather than affectionate parody. This is why dan houser should pick a location he likes for the next game. Somewhere he's in love with, where he has enough of an obsession to find flaws to lovingly jab at, rather than resentfully churn out another generic stereotype joke.

 

 

Thsi is probably why GTA is heading down hill, they have run out of good stuff. They should hire some writers - maybe get some people who work on the SouthPark material as they know what they are doing (new Southpark episodes are like the 90's simpsons = great) or people who wrote the old simpsons eposides or people who worked on Naked Gun or National Lampoons. People like that.

 

San Fierro and Las Ventural will be done at some point, but what will be the setting, if its not the 70's then its a wasted opportunity.

IMO it wasnt disappointing,but it depends on the way others see the game.infact it was universal acclaimed getting perfect 10s accross the Board.if it was 33ml people wouldnt have buy the game.

but people bought the game without knowing if it was disappointing or not, I think. You have to play it to know if it's disappointing. It has millions of sales because it's GTA.

And again, I will never trust reviewers sorry. They will just say any new GTA is BEST GAME EVAR

The Midwest in Carcer City, North Yankton, USA they have been talking about the Midwest Since IV and in V Lester,Michael, Trevor are from the Midwest and why would they use North Yankton in V just for teasing us and speaking about tradition with going to Liberty City then Vice and SA well they gave tradition the finger and f*cked it up by taking their talents to LS with V instead of VC so...

Its gonna be in some city in the Midwest probably Carcer but who knows

I'm liking the idea of South Africa. We could have another SA style map with Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban. There's huge levels of gang violence in South Africa and I'd like to see a real street gangster protag, not like in America but 3rd World style, where people carry AKs in the open.

Only problems I could see is that it is not the most instantly recognizable country.

I tell you guys if a GTA game was based here it'll do really well. Geographically we have everything you need; mountains, rivers, flat land, ocean, and bunch of islands. Also if we got multiple freeways, multiple cities here that has its own vibe to it, and we got the US to the south of us, so there would be an DLC you could maybe see an US DLC expansion. Plus if the GTA game has some sort of season cycle to it you'll see a variety of weathers; lots of sunshine, rain, torrential rain storms, snow, hail, etc. Plus we have gang violence here with over 130 organized groups.

I feel that Liberty City will be done with until GTA 7. I am hoping for a Vice City setting in VI with the Keys and maybe a small Orlando knock off.

It is dangerous like go out to East Van it's just bunch of homeless people, crack heads, drug addicts, drug dealers,etc. Come to where I live its just a bunch of murders and last year we had a record number recorded and this year just in the first month we had like 4 or 5. As I mentioned over 130 orginized gang groups and this one time I was walking to the bus stop this guy pulled a knife on me and started threatening me for no reason.

i don't think it's going to be vice city if it's set in modern day like all of the recent gta's. 80's miami was a blast in gta vice city but miami is nothing special today.
