Crazyeighties
So my MRI results came in today, I finally have a reason for the pain and discomfort I am in. The doctor looked over my scans and there is a mass on my spine. I am feeling kind of numb right now....I guess it has not fully set in..... Audiophile
I am sorry to hear and sorry that this is happening to you. Â The most logical thing to do next is consider what the doctor told you and pick a course of action based on that. Has the doctor told you of any treatment plans? Options? Surgeries? Â I understand it's probably frightening because it is your spine. Have you been referred to a specialist? Did the doctor give you a prognosis? Â EDIT: I just saw your post below. Apologies, I was typing this up right before you posted. Edited March 13, 2014 by Audiophile

tranceking26
Then at the very least you have something to start with, soon. I would just try to piece together the steps on the road to recovery. Â My father takes various medication for his spine problem, so they will probs give you info on what to start taking the next time you see them. *MURDOC*
Good luck man, it's sucks having medical problems, I know first-hand. Hopefully it's not so serious and they'll actually be able to do something to get rid of yours.

Crazyeighties
Update .01 3-19-2014 Â Hi all I thought I would update you on the life changing news I received just last week, I have talked to on surgeon. He does not like the idea of operating on the area of the spine where the tumors have been found. However it is not off the table as a treatment option. A big part of it depends on what the biopsy says. (That should be back any day now) Audiophile

K^2
Until you hear biopsy results, there is no reason to panic. Most growths like that are benign and can be taken care of with a bit of surgery.
