high91
I always think about space, HOW BIG IT IS, how it works, what does it expand into ..etc?  So many questions with theories to match and some answered (''answered'') questions.  I believe certain things. I wont say what for the sake of argument.  I will say space is freakin creepy when you start realising its potential.  What are some of your thoughts on the matter? please keep it real and dont start going off topic with conspiracies and religious views, unless of course they do make sense and dont deter the flow of discussion.  How do you all comprehend space..DO YOU THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX?..or just know that space is up there and that is that? Simple minded comments are very welcome  I would really like to know what it is and the purpose of it. I dont think any amount of research or space exploration will ever reveal the true myths of space. gnad.1992, RedBull FM and The God From Hell

RoadRunner71
Well, actually I was gonna create later today a thread to share the next site but now you've bring up the subject I'll do it here...  This site has a scale model of the solar system, as well as a nice reflexion about life and the immensity of the space. THE_TREVALEV
I often think about parallel universes, the beginning of the our universe, how, when, and if our universe will end, etc. It's insane. It's usually accompanied by if there is a god or not, but that's for another thread. Edited March 13, 2014 by THE_TREVALEV poklane

Graven
I managed to find space´s left wall, there was a door that had a strange sign, like number eight sideways.  ∞  I looked on the other side but there was nothing. Just....nothing. Next I´m gonna take a peek in the sink hole.

You should check it out and try if you can reach Pluto http://joshworth.com/dev/pixelspace/pixelspace_solarsystem.html Stuff like that always creeps me out. The universe is so huge but empty, our earth is tiny and in the middle of nothingness. And I'm here getting worried about some college exam that has nothing to do with nature or the universe. I know that's a silly thing to say but I still can't help thinking like that Like every silly mundane problem on earth is nothing compared to how huge space is and how tiny we are. At the same time it calms me down to know that at least a few humans went as far as trying to find out everything we know (or think we know) right now about the universe. But I think the entire human race should forget about everything and focus 100% in science and solving the mysteries of existence. What else matters? Jimmy_Leppard
Personally, I believe we're living in a multiverse and there's a pretty good bet that it's true. I also believe every universe in the multiverse is in a different size. As for our universe, the only thing I'm for sure is that it's big enough for humans to not be able to explore it to the full extent. Not now, not in 100 years, at least. high91

high91
^^^ oh wow three top posters with such deep minded views on a subject they know 5hit all about. Â You know guys nobody gives a 5hit apart from your little troll buddies so go and post your frustrations in another topic that deserves to be trolled. Â Also maybe think about getting a life and some form of relationship rather that licking your online trolling buddies asses which is obviously what you thrive off deep down. Â Wow im top poster Myron and I like to troll forums because i cannot form reall bonds in my life and I think earth is a squirrel. Â As for Jimho and ephemeralstar....well what a waste of time and life you are. Myron grow up and stop using this forum for your fetish. Â As for my topic..some great answers by people with a brain Space is awesome and yes...we are in space even though its UP THERE...its all around us and there is no hiding from the jaws of existence. universetwisters
The concept of space scares the hell out of me. I mean, think about it. We're just this teeny tiny speck surrounded by OODLES OF GOOBLABOO. Â Damn, quite a scare. high91
JKan420
Crazy to know just how large the known universe is, and I'm sure our universe is just a tiny speck in the entire grand scheme of existence. What also makes my mind race is thinking about things at the tiniest of levels. We've gotten past electrons and neutrons and into the quantum level. At the smallest level of existence what does life look like? high91

DEALUX
I would really like to know what it is and the purpose of it. There is no proof that purpose is anything more than a human construct, so space, the Universe, or life itself doesn't need to have a purpose. Â I don't really have anything interesting to share. I do think that huge things are fascinating (no, I don't like big penises...nor any other kind of penis for that matter) but I don't really have any views on what might be out there or on the possibility of intelligent life in other places in the Universe. I think it is possible that there are other intelligent beings out there but I don't believe that there must be. Maybe there aren't any. high91
high91
^^ nice post but cant like it because of limit. Â I think there is life in many stages of evolution. There could be planets that are like earth was millions of years ago, all undergoing their own history and all creating life in different forms and ways. Â So in millions of years them planets will be as advanced as we once were maybe. Â If you could look all the way into space, theories say that you could end up staring at the back of your own head. You can go as far as you want but will always end up where you started. Â Its scary stuff.
THE GHETTO JEZUS
Well it is kinda creepy if you think about it, like we are just a little spec in the vast universe that god knows how big it is.
