it's almost as if they're intentionally withholding things from the game to be sold back as DLC. They've been doing this since GTA4 and I saw the writing on the wall then which you can check in my post history.

Man, I've been telling people that they've been doing this and no one believes me...

All the stuff that they've added was already rendered in the game. He'll even some of the new clothes and stuff from the hipster update was shown in the release trailer, and that sh*t was shot like 9 months ago. That sh*t is inexcusable...

Inexcusable? It was more than likely not fully developed and even if it were fully developed at the time of the games release, IT'S FREE. If they were charging us for content that should have been in the full game then sure that would be inexcusable (as thats what many game companies do, RE Watch Dogs).
The hunter was already shown in game and is fully rendered and still isn't in the game.

And what do you mean it wasn't fully developed? How long does it take to retexture some T-shirts? It doesn't take more than an hour and it damn sure doesn't take 8-9months...

Unless you work at Rockstar you can't say how long it would take especially since they are working on many things with the current gen version probably taking a development lead.

As I said, regardless if it were developed or not, it's free so stop whining about free content.

"Free content"

You don't get it for free. You still have to buy it in game with GTA money. Guess what? That's not free.

I'm obviously referring to $USD (Or other local currency), Jackas*.

I don't have to work for rockstar to know how long it would take to develop their content. I am familiar with their software and it isn't rocket science to guess how long it would take.

They have a group of programmers specialized in developing the content. It's their job to do it. They know what they're doing and they know how to do it. It'd be different if it was one unpaid intern that didn't have a f*cking clue what they were doing (which it does feel like sometimes.)

The ADA-01 ADLER was already shown in-game and its fully rendered and still it isn't available in Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War and Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War.

The BFG-9000 in DooM I and II was gonna have a rapid speed firing with red and green cell attacks. It was cutted and changed to one huge blast of a green big cell that'll kill anything on-sight.

In GTA:SA, Kendle was gonna wear blue clothes instead of green.

Seriously dude... Ever heard of Beta Content?

Yes I have, and the difference is that rockstar is releasing this (for lack of a better word) "beta" content as Dlc.

And I haven't shed a tear Danny.

^ So what? R* is releasing what was cut. Good for them.

Maybe not in-game free, but its free to DOWNLOAD it to your PS3/Xbox. That's what we're referring to 'free content'.

EDIT: damn. SkylineGTRFreak beats me in it... lol.

A lot of game developers with online titles actually develop the DLC releases before the game comes out - just to keep people playing.

So if there is a helicopter, it could've easily been finished months ago, but is awaiting it's scheduled release.

It looked finished judging by the Simian movie trailer.

The fact that bothers me is that it was advertised in a Warstock ad within the last month prior to the release of V... but as long as we still get it, I may be able to forgive R* this time.

I think that the real question is, how much will it cost(if it's real) and what level will you need to be to purchase it? Personally I'm thinking at least $3,000,000 and also level 100.

Im thinking the same, if not, then just have it in F. Zancudo (like the Lazer)

But yeah it was meant to appear in the game but was cut.

Beta images can be seen on the Warstock's Lifeinvader page, which look like a Hind plus there's an un-used handling line called "Hind" and also it has weapon data associated to it.

Relax... The attack chopper will come. When the single player DLC drops we will get the artillery. Now wait.

In GTA IV we had to wait a while for parachutes... and additional songs and cars. If rockstar is doing this right we will get more of that this October. The additional storyline and such is gunna be INCLUDED with PS4 GTA. Right?

Now I'm hoping this stuff is exclusive to new gen consoles/PC

I hope it's on both, even though I have my PS4 already.

GTA Cash can be acquired through cash cards, which are purchased with real money.

Since the only way to make decent money in this game is grinding, which many people frown upon and don't wanna do, plus all the twelvies with mom's credit card, they buy the cash cards and R* makes money off the DLC because people always want the latest and greatest things ASAP. For every smart player who stocks up on cash and then runs wild, there's two idiots running around with less than 100k when the updates come out.

Don't sit there and pretend like R* is giving us charity, they're making their money, jackass.

I like the price idea, sounds about right.

But the rank unlock. We can be pretty much assured that it's going to be the most OP helicopter in the game, and now that the game is 8-9 months old, a lot of the playerbase is over 100. I reckon, to give the really high levels something to enjoy, that shows to others "You've made it" make it unlock at either 150 or 200.

GTA: Online isn't meant for making quick money, it's meant for pro long gameplay. Those examples you gave with with people only having $100,000 when updates come out is 100% irrelevant considering I don't care for others (such as yours) idiocracy.

The content is free, you can either work for it or pay for it but the choice is yours. Now quit being a smartass and if you are going to continue whining about GTA: Online you can simply stop playing it and visiting a forum dedicated to discussion about it.

I think the trailers are some kind of sneak peek preview on coming features in DLC, so i for one welcome our Hunter overlords.

Hope this will come with a AA missile launcher.

I noticed something: while we can see the Hunter is a two-seater, the pilot usually takes the place behind the gunner, who sits in front. Here the gunner steers the heli alone. But ah well, the Simian was rated PA for postapocalyptic bullshlt.

The feature of a gunner would be awesome, you could concentrate on flying while your gunner operates the turret and, well: it will be a flying tank raining steel and death on everything beneath, a tank killer.

Probably with blind spots above, vulnerable against Lazers and Buzzards.

They did that for the Buzzard, so why not? (Front seat passenger can control where the missiles fire)

Now quit being a smartass and if you are going to continue whining about GTA: Online you can simply stop playing it and visiting a forum dedicated to discussion about it.

it's almost as if they're intentionally withholding things from the game to be sold back as DLC.

The data is free but ingame the items are not free. They cost GTA$, That is not free.

You'll find that I already stated I was referring to ACTUAL MONEY. Not GTA$.

It's meant for whatever the f*ck you want it to be meant for, don't sit there and pretend you're the game developer when you're just another player like the rest of us you arrogant prick. My idiocracy? I keep cash stockpiled, dumbass. Sit there and act all high and mighty, you're still just a person behind a keyboard, so drop the WBM sh*t and lose the attitude. Nobody's whining, stop interpreting everything you don't like or don't agree with as whining. And no, the content is not free, you're still paying either with time or with money and R* still profits. And what? My posts don't count as discussion? Just because I give my own opinion instead of shilling for the game or bitching for the sake of bitching? If you don't like my posts, skip over them or better yet, just add me to your ignore list and it saves us both the headache of having to deal with one another. Simple enough, chief? Goddamm, people like you are practically unbearable.

By the way, don't tell me what to do.
