I seem to have some mods not working properly (like Ashwin's phone call mod), because i would need a 134kb sized cleo.asi (i have the normal asi 13kb) , but i can't find it anywhere. Can anyone help me where it originates from/where can i download it? thanks

He's talking about version 1.0.0.1. It was the first public cleo for vc release AFAIK. I use it too. I don't see any differences between the old and new versions, asides the older version works with all types of key presses, while the latest one is having trouble with it.

If you still can't find it, slap me on PM.

Been trying to figure this out for awhile. Seems like info on cleo for VC is scarce. Is there a fix for this issue other than using an older version?

Reading key presses from memory works fine.

Will have to look into how to do that, thanks. I do have one big issue I'll ask about here. Seems like most of the opcodes won't work for me with the version of cleo installed by sannybuilder (13kb). For instance I can't spawn weapon pickups because sanny wont recognize opcode 0A95. Is this SA only or should it work in VC?

Of course it's SA only. Btw, cleo is not a best way to spawn pickups, you'll have to destroy them before game performs any save and restore them after that.

MVL allows to do so way easier and stable.

The problem with Cleo is that documentation is only easily available for SA. I can find nothing about reading key presses from memory in VC, nor any documentation that tells you what is and is not a good idea in cleo.

It got released yesterday ;)

Also he meant reading from some CControllerConfigManager array 1.1.1.6 wrongly used for checking the keypresses. In 1.1.1.7 it works with all valid virtual key codes again, same like III/SA CLEOs do.
