jmp909
Hi, so i tried to add my first car into TLaD (Steam EFLC 1.1.2.0) but it didn't work i created a file with my models in added all the relevant entries newveh.img, carcols.dat, gta.dat, newveh.ide, images.txt etc. But the original file was meant to replace infernus, whereas i want to add the car as "mclarenp1" i think one of the issues is in the definition..... which entries do i replace with mclarenp1/MCLARENP1 and which need to stay as infernus/INFERNUS?.. the mesh in the model viewer shows it as called "pack:/infernus" and i'm not sure how to change that.. so i was wondering if one of the entries below refers to the mesh and has to be left as is. --------------------------VEHICLES.IDE:infernus, infernus, car, INFERNUS, INFERNUS, VEH@LOW, VEH@LOW_INFERNUS, 1, 0, 0.25, 0.25, 0, 5, 1.0 ,0, sports+noboot-------------------------CARCOLS.DAT:(at car3 section)infernus, 0,0,0, 132,0,0, 127,0,0, also i wasn't quite clear which files need to be specifically put i the EFLC\TLaD\. folders and which just go in the base EFLC folders thanks for any advice J Edited March 13, 2014 by jmp909 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/692986-steam-eflc-adding-extra-cars-mesh-names/ Share on other sites
jmp909
ok it appears that all the modifications should just go in \EFLC and not \EFLC\TLaD (i think TBoGT is possibly different though) and regarding the .ide file, this worked: mclarenp1, mclarenp1, car, MCLARENP1, INFERNUS, VEH@LOW, VEH@LOW_INFERNUS, 20, 999, 0.2700, 0.2700, 0, 5, 1.0 ,0, sports+livery where mclarenp1 is the name of my reference & wft/wtd file etc. but the mesh pack:/ name is still infernus and here it is: j Edited March 14, 2014 by jmp909 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/692986-steam-eflc-adding-extra-cars-mesh-names/#findComment-1064971349 Share on other sites
