When i try to play online or story mode the music stops and shows pictures on loading can you help me?

if you're on PS3, try restoring the file system.

You can do that by entering the recovery mode.

 

 

 

You might try it several times, if it doesn't work, try to rebuild the database.

 

Anyway, restoring the ps3 system would be the safest way out. However, restoring the ps3 means that you delete EVERYTHING from it, you you will have to reinstall all games, back up all your savefiles and other personal data on the system. You will lose your ingame messages.

 

 

 

 

If you're on xbox360, I cannot help but give you the advice on getting a ps3. Nah jk I don't want to ruin this thread with another flame war

Online Characters are saved on the Rockstars Cloud servers, So your Online Character should still be there when you sign in with your PSN/XBL account, (After You restore your console)

 

I'M NOT 100% SURE ON THE ABOVE BUT GOING BY OTHER ONLINE GAMES AND OTHER FORUMS IT WILL BE SAVED (RESTORE YOUR SYSTEM AT OWN RISK)

 

The Fact that you stat it gets stuck on the loading screen in Story Mode may suggest that there could be something wrong with your Disc (IS it scratched?) , I suggest That if one of your friends has the game try it and see if it is that to see if it works,
