Hunter and Runners

I have just read a thread on players hiding in the open that has triggered something in my brain. I remember in the UK there was a program in the uk in the late 80s I think where there was a Hunter and two Runners; I don't remember the name. The Runners had a wad of cash and the aim was to get to a specified geographical location. The runners weren't allowed to drive but could hitch lifts, get public transport etc. the Hunter has a bike and a chopper. The Runners had to keep their location secret and be as subtle as possible. This could work in GTAO, if the Runner(s) switch off blip but the hunter does not. The hunter has to look for suspicious behaviour. Maybe the runner could switch on and off the blip at certain points. Winner gets $15000 or something that.

I'm still trying to figure out whether this would work well. Any feedback?

This is a great idea, though I'm not sure about the blips part, you hide for a minute and then wait another 5min to hide again, seems weird

If it's the same show I'm thinkin of: the interceptor'

Used to love it

That's the one!

Awesome program. Found it the other day on some obscure freeview channel.

Fair enough. I was not sure about this either. Turning off radar seems a better idea.

I'd be totally down to play this on xbox!

Seems like we could only rely on an honor system of turning our HUDs off. My friends and I play like this every so often, and its loads of fun. The best time we've had was in Crackdown(that old, old superhero power game), and playing in this manner. We would hide in plain sight of eachother just sitting in civilian cars, while the other person literally had to look into the car to see if we were inside or not!

In GTA, it's equally as fun if its set up right.. I think we had the issue of the name appearing above our heads if we got too close to each other which ruined it, but I dont remember how we worked around this. We also had to dictate a specific zone to stay in, as the city was too large to play that in. However i'm interested in giving full SA play a go!
