I want to get some ragtime pieces into my repertoire because everybody seems to know and enjoy them, and they're fun to play. At the moment, I'm working on Mozart's Minuet in D major (K355). It's a beautiful piece and quite an easy piece to play. Since school started I really lost my touch with the piano and only recently have I started fixing that. Oddly enough, no matter how long I leave the piano, I always seem to be able to play the first movement of Beethoven's moonlight sonata perfectly. Perhaps it is because it was the first piece I learned. I also stargaze, if you want to think of it as interesting. Since I got the scope I've been a bit of a deep-sky-object fanatic. I've been trying to view all the galaxies in my skies. The Cigar Galaxy (M82) is spectacular, especially since a supernova was recently observed within it. Andromeda was certainly the brightest but showed no structural detail due to artificial light from a nearby town. The Whirlpool galaxy is the only galaxy to exhibit structural detail - the spirals are clearly visible on moonless nights. I'm not sure if you would call all of that interesting; in a 200mm reflector, galaxies come out as grey smudges and exhibit no detail in the average night sky. When the family comes out it is always pointed towards the Moon or Jupiter since they show a lot of detail; maybe the Orion Nebula on exceptionally good nights. Ever since I was little I was always wanted to ride the bus or the train and that has still continued till this day. I guess you can say I'm like a transit fan but yea. Now I still do ride the transit everyday but also I just started do video recordings of buses and post them on YouTube. I don't really care on what you say if you think this a gay hobby but to me it's better than getting f*cked up and going to jail like most kids at school. Like the last thing I saw was this old man and young man just going at it at the front of the bus and the bus driver was going at it too and all the people in the front ran to the back. But knowing where I live it shouldn't be that long till I see something interesting like the stuff I post in the public transportation thread.
