Can anyone confirm that the Speedo van is Storeable/Insureable in Gta Online?

It is, but if you want it modded up, you need a saved editor.

Really want a speedo as well, have a Mac tho and have never used a save editor, I mean I could use a windows somewhere I guess if I needed to.

 

Really just wish you could paint the paradise van a normal color.

The save editor is very easy to use. Here's an explanation:

The only trouble with storing the Speedo (same with the Rumpo) is you can't drive it straight into your garage so you have to leave it outside and drive another car out then back in again.

 

But you can track/insure them at LSC, must be a bug in the garage exemptions list.

I went hunting for a van last night. I have wanted one for a while in my garage. I wanted a Rumpo but couldnt find one. While hunting I did find a clean BF surfer with surfboard. Its funny how you see nothing of some cars then they spawn everywhere. Anyway my effort.

This rusty BF surfer was one of the first vehicles I kept in online. I don't have it anymore.

 

 

First time I ever saw a Rumpo spawn, I had to take a picture of it lol

 

 

Found a Youga and was taking it to my garage when I hit another car so hard it bent the wheel, idk why I took a pic

 

 

My Youga that I kept for a really long time. I don't have this van anymore either

 

 

One of the first duped cars I received from someone on this forum. This was last year before sp to mp became popular, as it required the lag method.

 

 

 

These two were taken during the snow day. I found a Pony and had some fun.

 

 

Took a Rumpo through the canals. It somehow got stuck while going through the water and the engine died, had to leave it there.

 

 

My Speedo and my current fav. vehicle to drive. I like going off the radar and sneaking up on people with it.

I have had a bit of a hunt in the other van threads but couldnt see anything definite. I have a few questions to anyone who can answer. I was trying to see for myself but vans spawn too rarely for me to be able to check quickly.

 

1. What vans are available to store in a MP garage? Speedo and Rumps have been mentioned in the update notes. Any others aready available (obviously I know about BF surfer and paradise)

2. Out of those vans which ones can be modified in MP?

3. The ones you cant modify can you mod them in SP and bring them into MP and store them with mods?

Gang Burrito is still banned from garages, I'm not sure about the Burritos with Weazel News livery

2. Out of those vans which ones can be modified in MP? The Youga has performance and cosmetic mods. The Speedo and Rumpo can only be insured and fitted with explosives unless you mod them via save editor.

3. The ones you cant modify can you mod them in SP and bring them into MP and store them with mods? You can do this with nearly any car in the game except the ones Rockstar blacklisted from the garage (police vehicles, Space Docker etc). Bring them to MP and buy insurance.

Yoy legend ChromeTurismo. I had a rumpo modified in SP that I liked. Now gone but if I can at least bring another into MP that way I will do that. I was worried I would spend time hunting one down, modifying it only to find I can't store it. Cheers.

You can make van races in the creator. When you're setting up the starting grid, you need to change the size to Large. This allows you to select vans as a class. keeping my fingers crossed for a clown van race Edited March 14, 2014 by ChromeTurismo

Where do you guys get the Speedo? I want one, but I can only find Rumpos every once in a while. I just found a silver Rumpo a minute ago, got a 5k bounty, managed to escape (5k for me? Thanks!), and tracker/insured it. Still can't mod it, though. Here:
