Happens sometimes. Though I always got the money too. Then again I have actually been blowing up the truck instead of just the doors.

It happened to me yesterday, I was happy cos it was the first time I saw an armored truck spawn in my lobby and when I blew it up, Nada!

I know that glitched armored trucks spawn for a specific player. If that player is not like a block or two close to it, you won't get anything.

 

If it spawns for you... It will always drop cash.

I don't know how true this is. I've had empty trucks more times than I can count, leaving me to snub them now and not even bother.

 

I prefer not to waste time, ammo, or money, or get a 3-star wanted with a roomful of cops and wanna-be hunters chasing after me.

 

All in hopes there might be $3k in it for me... or not. ugh.

I've stopped going after them as well. Sometimes the money doesn't even drop and when it does it's like 3k/4k, which is like nothing compared to its previous amounts of 10k-12k. I just don't bother with them anymore.

Just kidding. It happens from time to time. Even though last title update says something like fixed an error occurring where armour trucks sometimes fail to drop cash.......

I always thought some were decoys and some were real. I found that when I get nothing from a decoy the real armoured truck spawns a few minutes later.

I had same problem last night.

 

Put a sticky bomb in the correct place and BOOOOM.

 

Tried it a few time and everyone exploded with no money.

 

Good excuse for a rampage though.

You have to make sure that the truck isn't stopped, if he is, it's not gonna give any money...

Shoot the back doors untill they open. Money comes out. I dont think you get anything for blowing the truck up. Right?

Yes thats right. If the hole truck is blown, not just the backdoor, then no money. I mostly autoshottie the doors open beacause if another vehicle is too close the stickys often blow up that car also and the truck explodes.

When I play in laggy lobbies I just get cardboard boxes hurled at my car. Reminds me of that San Andreas mission where you raid the National Guard at the Docks and Ryder has to hurl crates at the Soldiers chasing you.

if you destroy the truck, you get no money, you can shoot the doors off, but it takes ages, at least for me anyways.

After you plant a sticky, make sure there are no other cars close to the armored truck or they will just blow up, in turn detonating the armored truck

Last night me and a buddy had armored trucks spawning one after the other, I probably hit 15/20 before I went to bed (buddy said he did atleast 50 ha) and Id say probably 3 didn't give me cash for whatever reason.

 

Maybe it's intended? Who's to say the truck isn't on the way to pick up the cash

When I last played 3 months ago you could park behind, sticky bomb, and the money would fall out.

 

This week I had no luck, bombs would ALWAYS result in 0 cash, adn a destroyed truck. Until I shot the back doors on foot, money falls everytime.

 

I also noticed if I park infront of the truck, walk behind it to rob it, the driver doesn't even try and drive away. I landed a plane in-front of one last night, casually auto-shotgunned the doors, grabbed cash, got back in plane..

Thats because the guy that it spawned for was not near it when you blew the doors open.

 

I swear thats how it works.

 

 

Also... Sometimes it gets hit, but it stays on the map. Phantom trucks ..

I've hit well over 60 armored trucks on a row, pretty much 1 every few seconds.. Nothing will ever beat that in RP and cash.

If you don't want 3* chases, park your car in front of the Armored Truck and shoot the small area next to the handles. It'll take a little less than a full magazine with any weapon. I use rifles and the AP Pistol.

4 out of every 5 trucks are empty.

 

there are days that i feel like using stickys just to make things more interesting and it seem like guy at ammonation put a little more explosive in the stickys as they end up blowing the entire truck, even know i place them on the right spot at the door handle.

Hit an AT on the highway last night and when I popped the doors with the sticky other cars went into panic mode, when the money bags dropped out a car struck them and they went flying. Out of the four bags that fell out I found three.

 

I have only run into one or two empty trucks, so I figured it was just a random event. Take the risk that the truck may or may not have cash in it. Either way you get the Wanted level and have to run from the cops. If it's a glitch then R* still has not fixed it.

This happens to me often as well. It's honestly not even worth it. I never really went for them but when I did, out of boredom, it was a disappointment because it left me with unwanted cops and low amounts of cash or sometimes not even any cash. I rather blow up the truck itself then blow the back doors.
