I haven't raced in a couple of days... they finally turn off the 50% bonus they were giving out for Business weekend event or did they cut the original payouts by 50%?

I noticed this too. Did a 8 player race today, won, and only got like 1,800 dollars. Disappointing to be honest.

It's not as bad as it looks. You are still getting about 7X the $$ shown on the screen. So I run a short race and get $259 on-screen, but it's actually about $1900 that goes in my bank account. Thats not bad.

 

True, over the event weekend, I was getting about 7X the cash shown on the screen for short races, which put about $3500 in the bank for each race. That has been cut in half, but it's a lot better than it was before this weekend.

 

I made some insane money over the event weekend.I took advantage of that weekend to completely waste two days of my life to level up 50 levels using the 1.5X RP for races, and as a bonus I ended up with about $800K more in the bank. Wow.

And if it is unrelated to the bug where payouts weren't displaying correctly, I wonder if R* instead of taking the 50% buff from air races took it from land races by accident.

Had to check it out, seems like a it's a bug in what is says. Got little over two times the amount it said.

 

And when I think about it, yesterday I hade a race where I finnished third, 15 sec behind the 2nd and the result screen showed that we got equal payout...

i haven't really paid attention to either of the two, as recently i've only been racing to unlock the last few engine mods i need to max out my cars

no offence taken luap, i stick by my orignal point that those (i beleive now removed) posts were excessive, unnecessry and ill informed.... you know me im happy to hold up my hands and admit when someones more experienced than me, hell i think youve won more races than ive comepted in overall and i knwo theres a massive number of "uncounted" solo runs that arent publicly visible...
