GTA Life after 120?

I'm past 120 and I still don't feel "done." There are always things I want to do, cars I want to mod, places I want to see.

 

I don't think I can ever really get bored playing a GTA game tbh.

 

OP, you should try working towards achievements. Or maybe try to take interesting pictures in uncommon spots. Finish the stunt jumps. Get a bounty and see how long you can last without killing any of the people who are trying to kill you. Possibilities are endless tbh.

I try my hardest to get as many kills as possible when i have a bounty. Sticky bomb traps and coming around blind corners to my assault shotgun galore

I hit 120 as well his past weekend. I started my other character just to get him going. At 26 with him now. I'm using my first character to farm for money and for big shootouts. He's my firepower. My 2nd character is just my extra garage space and for fun.

 

Hitting 120 was my big goal since I got the game. Just wanted to have all the weapons in preparation for heists and other big jobs. And also all car mods which I have for him as well.

 

So for now....120 doesn't mean sh*t but a goal to set. Nice to finally be there though. Now I can do other things and enjoy the world of gta

You're never done. As long as you have friends to interact with and the will to choose your personal "fun" as a suitable criteria, you wont be focused on status or levels or anything like that. Sometimes, I simply ignore the entire criminal concept of the game just for the joy of a good Daemon ride in Blaine County.

Is this a generational thing? I don't know the OP's age, but this kind of post seems to be quite common, and it's something me as an older (33) gamer can't quite grasp...

 

It's all about leveling to some folk, grinding, targets and accumulation of stuff... Reaching top level and buying all the gear = Finished?

 

Thankfully there are some posts here that I DO understand, because I feel the same about this game and gaming in general... for FUN and ENTERTAINMENT! Doing missions with friends, racing exploring... Those things entertain me and I enjoy myself... my level or amount of stuff I own doesn't matter.

Question is, why you need 120lv so fast and why only farm one race or mission? Sound for me realy boring, i have second 110lv and still have fun ( first char deleted with hacker money ). And yes i start play online when it start ( so almost half year? )

I'm 127 now, don't feel really bored yet. Just making out different objectives. Like I start saving up for a new car and replace a old one from my garage. And I have fun that way..

I've played since day one and I play every night for at least 3 hours. I think I've got a problem lol. For fun I've now started riding the train and getting 5*. Once I've got the 5* how long can I stay alive and on the train. It's like a kind of survival. I've been nosedived by players had players cars smash into me but the best is when they chase you in there cars and the police take them out. My best time is around 20 mins. I'm 33 years young lol

Whats the point of a second garage? You'd just fill it up and want a third one. If you're never satisfied, you still won't be.

 

Yes, this is why R* should allow us to buy all garages together. They make only profit, because many ppl will buy CashCards (which are too stupid to glitch), and car-fanatics are pleased.

Like others in this thread I reached 120 last night and yes that was the 'goal' as far as unlockables but my foresight suggests that R* will cut payments and RP from certain bumper missions like RR so my aim now is to rinse the arse out of it and make my 1.9m - 5m!

 

Because there's no way I'm grinding crap missions in the future to pay for dlc.

Damn.. I work hard enough IRL. Who wants be grinding away in a virtual life. Chillax!! Explore on foot. There's so much to see and hear. I still haven't hiked up to those water falls I forgot what its called. It's like a park or something..

Money doesn't mean anything to me either since I just glitch my cash and import cars to sell from single player. Neither RP or $$$ are a motivation for me to play. I thoroughly enjoy a lot of what this game has to offer, mostly missions. I love me some missions.

After 120 I kept playing as I did before 120.

 

I've never grinded for cash or done that 30 second race things, just play the game; death matches, races, missions, capture, even parachuting...

If that isn't your thing you should just try another game until the next update

Kept playing my first character after I hit 120, got to 145 from playing with crew members and inviting lower levels to RR.

 

Lately I have been playing with my second character and I must say it's fun ranking her up, I'm not much use if I'm invited to higher ranked missions but I rank up like crazy doing them, but the new weapons help to help my crew members a bit.
