GTA Life after 120?

So I hit 120 last Sunday from my totally awesome 26 second 4500RP $3976 race. (Easy to make - custom race GTA with turbo boost every 0.4 miles in a 0.86mile flat straight shot race) Farmed as much $ as I could and now have $3million at level 126. The race now gets 3000RP but still gets $3976. Takes about 2 minutes from loading to voting screen. So now that's 90k RP $119280 per hour of BORING mindless grinding... RR takes about 5 minutes from loading to voting screen and nets more $ but it takes more effort. Get about $216000 per hour of non stop RR.

 

Anyway, I bought the Jester and Turismo, all the new clothes, masks and gear. But now what? I tried playing last night after work but I was like why am I still playing when there's nothing to really accomplish anymore? I really hope the next DLC will let us buy another garage.

 

BTW I have a level 57 alt but the thought of grinding to 120 again doesn't make sense. This isn't like World of Warcraft where different characters have different powers.

 

Any other NEW level 120+ out there that have the same feeling?

Whats the point of a second garage? You'd just fill it up and want a third one. If you're never satisfied, you still won't be.

Yup. I even tried Freemode mindless killing. Man, that gets crazy tedious. I'm pretty much done until next update.

I honestly don't know where you people find time to level up two characters to level 120, my primary is 65 my secondary is 5. In my personal opinion is that if you have two characters over level 200 then your time might be best spend finding a better job, I know I am insulting some people but its the truth.

I'm taking my own little sweet time to rank up, don't like spending too much time in Grinding missions/races as it gets boring after a while since there's no fun in that

I just hit 120 on my main character last night. I find myself using my/my gf's level 10 female character now. Doing all the lower Gerald and Simeon missions and racing. Advantages I have this time around: Weasel apartment with 10 car garage, tommy gun and special carbine. Kinda fun seeing the game from a female perspective.

exactly the same as myself.....now im lvl 122 ,bought everything I possibly can,ran out of things to do,i`ll just wait for future dlc to be released then go on a couple of days before and grind some cash to buy the new stuff

I don't think I can ever really get bored playing a GTA game tbh.

 

OP, you should try working towards achievements. Or maybe try to take interesting pictures in uncommon spots. Finish the stunt jumps. Get a bounty and see how long you can last without killing any of the people who are trying to kill you. Possibilities are endless tbh.

I hit 120 over a month ago and just started playing with my crew more often, now I'm 150 and I'm still doing the same here and there as well as trying to max out every stat (only missing strength and lunch capacity).

Aside from that I'm just relaxing, not worrying about competing too much for the most RP or cash, basically taking a vacation until hopefully R* adds new weapons or missions for higher level players.

You'd be surprised by the amount of things that you miss since most people (including myself) are always playing GTA so fast-paced. It's nice to slow down and just look around, appreciating the map for the wonder that it truly is.

I've gotten to 120 recently. At the moment I just dick about in free roam. I'm also trying to get enough saved up to get a jet from the recent update, and also a buzzard.

I farm for GTA $ too so I'm ready for the next DLC.

I've been over 120 for a while. The key is to go for less obvious things. Example: last night, I was driving a truck while my friend was standing on a trailer hitched to the back as we hit ramps. The trailer was one of those surfaces that you dont fall off of when you move. Had quite a good time. Managed to get on a rooftop. It's the small things.

I leveled up to unlock everything to be able to utilize everything in free mode, but other then that I enjoy helping my lower level friends, doing more "Meets", and group activities. This game is really about immersing yourself and making your own fun using creativity which is something I tend to struggle with which is why I seek out others with interesting role playing ideas. The only way this game is fun for me is when you have friends to share your experiences with. Like last night I did a race solo (boring) but once a couple friends jumped in it turned into who could take the crazy route without falling (Bike race) which had me rolling cause of all the bails and interaction.

Careful of how many missions and jobs you do in general. You'll undoubtedly rank up quicker than expected and it's only a matter of time until you're kicked from said missions and jobs due to rank.

 

Rank is such a trivial thing though. 200 is an acceptable cap. 300 if you're feeling extra imaginative in the next year.

The only life after level 120 is to start another character... all rockstar provides anybody at that level is a few more cars, bottle weapons and minor tweaks to the game. Maybe in two or three years they'll add something interesting like a Casino, Horse track with betting or that funny thing called heists.

It's definitely less stressful being level 120. I did it last week without much fan fair. I haven't actually played online since the empty lobbies. Having a minigun and only one or two people to shoot at gets dull.

I wasn't having much fun trying to get up to that level, and once i got to 120, I felt "finished" but not that much better other than no longer having to grind for the minigun.

Unlike single player though, it's nice to have missions and other activities continuously offered to you. I just got bored of empty lobbies and racing with stupid rammers. I might pop on again but having more fun doing the 100% for single player and doing the assassinations.

See what else rockstar brings to the plate.

I'm taking my time up to 120, I didnt even do any of the double xp races from the past weekend. I played in freeroam for about 2 hours yesterday and I barely even got 1000 rp. Im having fun tho. But if they do ever add more garages and I'm pass 120, back to racing and everything so I have money to fully mod more cars!

I'm rank 235 and still haven't got all of the platinum awards. Also there are some deathmatches, versus missions and capture mode jobs I have never played.

 

I also enjoy my BMX and Triathlon races and creating them.

I have two charators my primary charator is 261 and my of other one is 120 and I do have a job proven you can rank up while doing 7 til 3 a week
