Which car is better overall? I have a FM Ruiner, but I've been considering replacing it with a Futo. they're both common street cars so rarity doesn't matter. I'm more interested in cosmetic mods than performance

Option 3: They both suck equally hard.

Futo's handling is more unique IMO

but if you're going for efficiency in races, I HIGHLY recommend you the Ruiner xD

Keep your dignity.

Oh wait.

That would be impossible.

The Futo is such a crap car.

The Ruiner is great. Sounds great. Looks great imo. Loved it when I had it, but I got rid of all my muscle cars recently.

Also it should be mentioned that the Ruiner is top of its class while the Futo is near the bottom of its class.

Unless your Futo's plates say INITIALD or Ruiner says KNIGHT, i'd replace both.

My futo pays homage to the AE86 from initial d and my ruiner does the same for the trans am from Knightrider

Futo for drifting. Ruiner for.... good question.

Ruiner for ruining?

My main grievance with the ruiner is the wheel wells, they are too big for the in game wheel options in my opinion, you can see the undercarriage of the vehicle from the side, I don't like that. I haven't had a futo in a while, I do remember it had obnoxiously silly mods however.

They are both garbage. I wouldn't taint my pristine garage with the stench of either of those cars.

You could get a Pheonix, muscle car but handles and drifts similar to a Futo.

Oh yes... And the ruiner is just slightly slower than the entity. Come on! If by your standards the futo is crap then the ruiner is diarhea. I personally dig both of these cars and OP you said your looking for cool mods, they both have cool mods but I gotta give a big edge to the futo and it may not be a coquette performance wise but its pretty quick and great for drifting and burning out.

The Futo is way more fun as a regular car, it will make you smile just driving it around. Just buy one if you have any interest at all, and keep in mind fully modded it is waaaaay faster.

The Ruiner's quick but inferior to the Gauntlet and Dominator for racing, PERIOD, if that's any concern if yours. Otherwise:

I personally think R* kinda messed up this car. No matter how tastefully I try to customize it, it looks wrong. It looks mostly Japanese but side graphics and engine sound are American muscle. And like the Schafter all the wheel choices look awful, something about the wheel wells, offset, or the size of the wheel choices. Been too long since I customized one to remember, honestly.

It's just got a confused identity.

My Schafter respectfully disagrees.

Ruiner is hard to drive! it handles like a bathtube.

but for me the 90`s camaro is the most beaituful car ever! so I voted for the ruiner

I know the real life ruiner is supposed to be a trans am, but its more a mix of a camaro and a transam

Have you ever driven a bathtub? because comparing a car (the Ruiner in this case) to a bathtub is just plain stupid..

These are two cars i love  I voted for the Futo because i like a underdog :D

I would say it depends on the rest of your garage, if its sports orientated go Ruiner and vice versa, both a lot of fun anyway.

So you like the 3 foot track width, doesn't mean it's not royally F'ed.

It's the only car in the game where the wheels sit a foot inboard of the quarter panel. Ruins a badass car.

The Futo is fun to drive for sure, as it's the best car for drifting. But that's all.

It's bad for races.

Ruiner is not the best of its class, but it's on top 3 I guess, with the Gauntlet and the Dominator. Good to win races.

So it depends on what you like to do the most.

spare me the "drift" nonsense.

ruiner is a valid muscle car; futo is just a sad little appendix in sports class.

Finally some one sees what I see! I started with the schwartzer and loved it. When i found the Schafter I was super xcited for a 4Dr version of my new fav car.

Then I saw the wheel fitment...such a shame!
