is niko dead?

People really overlook into the lifeinvader page, it's just an easter egg, nothing more. I imagine Niko moved from Liberty City to somewhere else and started a normal life.

Niko is not dead.

But i just hope that Karen won't pull his strings for avenging the death of ULP during The Wrap Up.

"Karen, i ain't touching the rifle ever again, i'm done!!"

"Boo-hoo, what a nice family you have, would be sad if something would happen to them"

"I kill you last, bitch. Who is that De Santa guy?"

You know, if they'll make a non-canon DLC like Undead Nightmare, this is what I want to see.

Niko is sent by IAA to take down Michael and Dave.

Luis and Tony arrive in Los Santos to open Maisonette West, after they finally give in to Yusuf's urging to franchise the clubs, only to have it burned down by Lamar and Franklin on the opening night because a couple of Ballas they were hunting hid in the crowd.

Johnny wakes up from a coma in Sandy Shores hospital, hungry for revenge.

The final battle between both trios takes place on UFO flying above Mount Chilliad with both teams equipped with jetpacks, laser guns and bear hands.

The ultimate fanservice DLC.

Detective Phelps

Johnny wakes up from a coma in Sandy Shores hospital, hungry for revenge.

That would make a lot of people happy. ;)

I would like to see Niko in a future DLC, but it is unlikely at this stage.

He is alive, but he left his past as a criminal. Well, that is what I think happened to him.

No, if he is R* wouldve made some sort of like a news story or something, Heck even lester says he's alive but he "went quiet" which indicates he retired from crime and is living off the bank job money and is taking care of romans child

It's realistic because Niko would is responsible for several murders and would be a wanted man.

I'm sure I've said this before but I think Lester saying that Niko went silent had a double meaning. The first more obvious one is that Niko is now living a quiet crime free life and the second being that Niko's voice actor isn't cool with R* anymore so he's literally silent now since it's unlikely the VA would return to voice Niko again.

He never said Niko is alive. His exact words were: "There was this Eastern European guy making moves in Liberty City, but... nah, he went quiet."

In no way does that imply that he's still alive. Arguments can be made from both sides, but don't start misquoting characters.

I think common sense would tell you that he just settled down. Why would he be dead?

If you chose revenge, he would just settle down and enjoy life with his cousin's family. If you chose deal, he would probably move to Vice City or something. He's already pretty well off financially so its almost inevitable that he would settle down.

I think he's just retired, hopefully it'll stay that way and Rockstar doesn't bring him back only to have him be a shell of his former self and then killed by Trevor for no reason at all

Well.. You can still go to GTA IV and play the game ? Can't you ?

I can still go back and play The Lost and Damned. Doesn't stop Johnny from being dead.

I still have him as my avatar on my ps3! I kept it just so everyone remembers he wasn't always a waste, and to remember that T bottom line is a massive c*nt! (albeit a lovable one!:p )

Lovable?

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Mind the mistake what i actually meant was with what lester said you can indicate that he is alive plus the odds of him being alive are greater than him being dead

He can be spared.

I didn't notice him during my playthrough, just read afterwards that it was him, so I don't know if I spared him or not. :)

Black & White

When Lester said "There was a guy making connections in Liberty City, nah, he went quiet", that means that Niko settled down and stopped committing criminal acts. I remember Packie McReary said that something changed Niko. As Roman had a child (if he survived the ending), Niko probably became a family man and had children himself, cutting contacts of his criminal friends to avoid his kid from becoming a criminal like Niko.

This is the most likely ending of Niko. I doubt he was killed, however, he could of been killed. Maybe the children of the victim of which he killed, or rival gangs that wanted him dead. There wasn't any news of it in the DLC games, or GTA V. He made millions in the end, and more than likely retired from his criminal ways.

I never said he was dead. He's still alive in my opinion.

It's all up to interpretation. Nobody is right or wrong unless we get some type of confirmation, which is unlikely.

I'm sorry but that's just stupid. I remember the shot, it's just a pedestrian. But hey, at least you're not saying that he appears as a hobo on the freeway in Trailer 1. (Can't remember how many people believed that he was Niko)

From what Lester said, IMO you can def say he's still alive as the context in which Lester talks about him is in consideration for using him but then deciding against it as he's "gone quiet" (quit active criminal activity). He wouldn't even bother mentioning somebody of no consequence or who was dead as why would anybody he's talking to need to know about a dead guy with no use to them? To me its very obviously worded to mean he's alive but not interested or contactable.

I don't recall Rockstar ever killing the main protagonist. Surely he's alive, wouldn't be surprised to see him popup in paid DLC some day.

U surely didn't pay attention to the opening of Vice City, Trevor's introduction mission or the choices Franklin has in the end, haha!!

Just joking. :) I know u did. Everybody makes minor mistakes sometimes.

Ya, just a little mistake, that you made. Rockstar never killed each game's main character (Claude, Tommy, CJ, Niko, or Mike/Trevor/Frank).

The only people they have killed are, as you mentioned, DLC protagonists - Vic for Vice City Stories and Johnny for The Lost & Dammed.

Although extremely debatable, Claude's death in GTA 2's intro movie is worth to mention.

I get a little nervous with The Paleto Score's dialogue... I don't get it, does Rockstar think anyone will like that past characters are dead? Or hinting they're dead? What is the damn point? The two dialogue hints to Niko are very confusing, why the hell didn't they made Packie just say something like "And Niko, well, I think he's retired." instead of f*ckin "And Niko, oww! he's prooobably dead 2! ohoho!"

I've lost my faith in them now. I'm just hoping that this is a cover for something really exciting in the future, they better have good reasons for making that lines.
