Either Bellic Lifeinvader page could be being maintained posthumously, as could the cab business (e.g. by Mallorie). My hunch is though he's still alive. Make what you want of it. all the universe crap asside, i think he's just living his life trying to make some money, like CJ though i think it's just best left to the players imagination. I see the life invader page as more of an easter egg than a solid fact that he is alive though. This. When I die, my Facebook page will still exist, it wouldn't mean I was still alive. I'm sure it's just an easter egg & his true fate is just 'whatever....' his voice actor demanded more money & I think Rockstar probably aren't a fan of him / niko anymore because of that. Sadly we will probably never see him again because I heard that capitalist (in real life) didn't recieved enough money when they made the DLC's The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. You can expect that he finally settled down from the life of crime, but he probably still had enemies after GTA IV's credits. Whether his enemies gave up their hunt for Niko, Niko continued (or continues) to fight, or Niko just accepted a bullet to the head (he's a broken man that's lost just about everything) is not known. Dimitri and Bulgarin are dead, Pegorino is too, Francis is either dead or in Niko's pocket, ULPC had Niko go and Gravelli had the file LCPD had on Niko disappear. I don't think there was anyone left to make trouble. In my headcanon, Niko settled down and either took over Roman's cab business in his name and helped Mallorie raise her kid (Deal) or worked with him, if he stayed alive in Revenge. I don't think there was anything left for Niko in the life of crime. He was already burn out by the end of the game (phone call to Roman after Pest Control) and no matter what he chose at the end of the game, he could start doing business freely. And I don't think either decision would break him and convince him to stay criminal. After Deal, he'd probably have an overwhelming sense of responsibility and guilt towards Mallorie. I don't think he'd want to risk getting taken down by the police or ending up dead and leaving Mallorie to take care of herself and her child alone. And after Revenge, and especially considering Niko's state of mind by the end of the game, Niko would probably want to get out.
