Red Hat
Hello guys, I'm going to build a new PC by the end of next month. I already have a copy of GTA IV and EFLC whose registrattion codes I have already used on my present PC. So, do I need to buy a new copy of GTA IV to play on my new PC or can I play GTA IV on my new PC with the same registration code which I have used on my present PC? Is there a way to transfer the code from my old PC to the new one? Thanks! Edited March 13, 2014 by Girish
Bozzah
You shouldn't need another code It's just about not using 2 same codes online at the same time (as far as I know) If it doesn't work, contacting the support and explaining them the story should your way to go then... gotta love that text color though Edited March 13, 2014 by Girish Red Hat
Red Hat
I see, I'm gonna register a ticket with Rockstar Support then.
Solution Girish Posted March 13, 2014 Solution Share Posted March 13, 2014 As far as I'm aware, there shouldn't be a problem. I have IV and EFLC installed on my desktop as well as my laptop using the same serial key. If you like to play it safe, you can revoke the license on your current PC before you install the game on your new PC.
