Your thoughts on that Paintball DM map?

I just played it for the first time and it was not that great.

 

Even though my team won, the carbine starts and long distances between cover left me with a dislike at the end. I think AR starts would be better or at least AR pick-ups on the map, but that's just an opinion. The map has AKs and SMGs everywhere. Towards the end it became a camp fest.

 

Your thoughts? If you played it.

50/50 it's alright. Someone do me a favor, check to see if Prison Thugz was removed. I changed sessions multiple times, rebooted my console 3 times, just to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. I think it's gone for good. If so Halle f*cking Lujah.

I think it is, if one other person can confirm, then we can rejoice. The funny thing today was I had 12 real good matches, and not once was I sent there. I just noticed it missing about an hour ago.

it's a typical close combat with many props.I liked it.Props are well placed and default settings fit the map.Rockstars other verified deathmatches are really terrible.last verified one named Battle GTA and it's absolutely f*cking terrible like ryan's private and seal team six.This map is a good one in my opinion but I ask myself what speciality it has to be verified..

I rather play the Vercetti Estate one but the Paintball one is good for the noobs so they can learn to take cover.Plus it takes balls to Snipe people in that map if you are all in the sand.

 

I havent explored much of it since im usually too busy trying to kill and stay alive.

my toughts,you are not obliged to accept.This map is more playable than other verified DMs in my opinion.Placing Advanced Rifles would take all the sense away,default weapons are suitable.This map's got nothing special to be verified but playability is satisfactory.Also,everyone is talking about "camping".Do you know what is camping?Camping is moving somewhere and staying there for minutes and killing people without being seen.In this map,you can not stay behind same object for more than 1 minute,someone can easily come and kill you,so it's not camping.

But I agree that rockstar make a senseless job on verifying jobs.They always choose weird ones,like Ryan's Private,Seal Team Six,Battle GTA.Some of them don't even have a description but got verified.

There are also many great jobs that can definitely beat those verified maps but I guess rockstar's crew is full of kids who like fighting in jets,tanks etc.

This. Many will probably argue it's useless but this is a useless item I can imagine having a lot of fun with, not only for a map like this but in general too (toying with npcs, "graffiti", etc).

anarchy kitten ps3 made a much better paintball at the horse track smaller map way more action.maps made completely of stuff in the content creator

It's an okay map with some design flaws.

 

If you spawn on the east side of the map you can really easily turn 180 degrees to the big pillars and take cover behind them while you snipe. You can see all approach routes and can have 100% cover.

 

I played it earlier and camped there for a while, it was ridiculously easy.

I think that's why I didn't like it. They had carbine starts and pick-ups on. It still seemed like there was too much open space between cover. IDK I'll give another try sometime.

I played it but didn't like the fact they were using real guns instead of paintball guns. So I left quickly enough.

I love the map. It's perfect for sniping. It's always great for assault rifles and shotguns (if you can get close enough without dying). The various debries provide cover and the new system they implented that shows enemy's blips on the radar if in the line of shot makes sniping all too easy. If you are the type to rush in, like me, then don't bother playing because you will probably get sniped. This is just like real paintball because you don't rush in, you try to hold your ground and slowly progress forward and back the other team into a corner. It's amazing!

It's a verified match, the f*ck did you expect? With the exception of one, maybe two, most of them (the Deathmatches especially) play like they were made by someone who only just discovered how to use the crayon.

i know irl if you get hit with a paintball, it does friggen hurt...

i watched my brother get shot @ around 20' close range and he had a pretty large baseball sized welt on his stomach.

 

so i would say if they ever decided to add a paintball gun to the game it should def inflict a small amount of damage. just not as much as a regular gun. but enough shots should kill you once your health depletes

I go paint ballin on the weekends during the summer and I have been shot at point blank range numerous times. Yeah... that sh*t hurts.

 

Anyway, a paintball gun in-game would have to deal out damage just like any other weapon, other wise it would just be a weapon to mess around with and rarely get used. But then again... what am I talking about lol. Who really uses the SNS pistol?
