Point 2 contradicts you first statement where you state avoiding conflict in a war zone, why the hell would you want to wait for 10 seconds?

 

A tank has never blown me up in passive mode. You must just be crap at the game.

2. Why don't you put a short waiting period say 10 seconds between requesting passive mode and actually going in to passive mode to prevent people abusing the mode. and maybe restricting it when your armed with a primary weapon with ammo which could be used to defend yourself.

 

 

 

1. Yeah I don't like that either. Passive mode is terrible for "exploring the city" if you can't drive anywhere. If I just want to go for stunt jumps, or take my cars to LS Customs, I don't want to be fighting people off. It'd also be nice if people couldn't run you over.

Odd, thought I had posted it to online forum. Robboy I have seen people shoot then swtch to passive immediately after n run away. Not really very sporting, should give the opportunity to get REVENGE. Plus I hear that you don't get blown up in passive on pstation servers why it would be different to the xbox version I dunno. I may be sh*t but then blowing ppl up on foot with a tank don't exactly seem fair n it don't make ya a pro either. Seems lame to me. I had this game about a month n I'm almost level 40 n before you say that's sh** I work too.

Passive mode is a wonderful thing when your in the middle of a war zone are out of ammo and need to get away without someone sniping you in the back of the head.

More proof that everyone in passive either just griefed someone or is about to!

1. So what, you want players to be invincible inside vehicles? So passive players can just ram normal players without them being able to defend themselves.

2. Adding a timer could be a good idea actually. The ammo thing is just stupid; if you can't afford ammo, don't go after players.

3. Tanks can only blow you up while you are in a vehicle, either that or run you over.

In my opinion Passive mode is good as it is now.

2. I just killed 30 people 10 times each in my tank, and they destroyed me. i guess I'll go into passive, climb to the biggest building, beat on my big ol' gorilla chest and fly away

The only acceptable use of passive mode is when you're getting spawn killed by a tank.

 

Otherwise, it is a bitch move.

 

The reason it doesn't work in cars is because a car can be a weapon. It would also eliminate several other funcions of the gtao experience, imagine passive mode stealing the HPV, or a bounty driving around in passive mode.

 

A number of players abuse it now, as is. No need to buff passive mode.

Could just make it so you could only call in a tank every 48 minutes and increase the level required to obtain it to perhaps 150? I seriously doubt they will disable it though.

Yes you can.. It only takes under 2 seconds to avoid them. I mean, i rarely get run over by anyone...ever.

 

 

Maybe you should not be standing in the middle of the street with a "RUN ME OVER" sign on your back :D

Make passive mode god mode but you can't kill other players, players who kill passive should pay 10k and get bs points and they should get griefed by the victim, remove their weapons. If they made it like this griefing scumbags would think twice about killing passive mode players
