R3 to Zoom In

Did anybody else notice that when you his R3 while aiming you can zoom in more?

 

I just now figured it out and i've been playing this game since October.

 

It depends on which gun you use is how much zoom it gives you.

 

(R3 is the Right Analog Stick Pressed Down)

i noticed this well before getting online during SP. funny you should post this because i've always been curious about how many people have never noticed little things like this in the game. kind of like how i never knew about the spectate thing for the TV until about a month ago. lol

Knew this, although it still doesn't zoom THAT much unless it has one of the advanced scopes on it.

The MG Rifle gives quite a bit of zoomage helped me a lot during the Maze Bank Survival

that's pretty terrible that it took you so long to find that out. then again, i only realized how to do wheelies on a bmx a few days ago.

It was like this in GTA 4 also... It's also like this in Halo, SW: Battlefront and even CoD: Black Ops 1 if you used the Variable Scope on a sniper rifle.

I thought this would be common knowledge almost 6 months in. Lol

Clicking L3 while ADS also lets you shoot grenades while using Heavy Rifle.

ive got one ... when driving and holding in L3 to look behind then shooting you can stop holding in L3 and continue shooting behind. this makes it easier to aim. works really well when using ap pistol with extended clip. hope this makes sense, try it out

Also, you can't do it while using a shotgun.

I only learnt yesterday you can buy full outfits at the clothing stores by walking up to the salesperson. What is common and something that has been known to one person since day one is a new feature another has never been made aware of.

Ah ok. Heres me thinking it has been available all the time and I wasnt aware of it. Another one I wasnt aware of untill recently is turning off a weapons flashlight. I was only made aware of that a few weeks ago.

EDIT: I've finished singleplayer and I didn't know this.. but I just tried it right now and I don't notice a difference. :|

 

ANOTHER EDIT: Oh you sumbetches are talking about normal weapons. I thought you were talking about snipers. Good lord I've known this for years <3
