What GTA Needs - Flame Paint!

Flame paint jobs have been a staple of cars since GTA 3.

Who can forget the Diablo Stallion?

On the outside this really is just a normal car with a blower coming out of the hood, but add in the flame and you've got a Stallion any player would be proud to sport around Los Santos in.

Later in Vice City the Cuban Hermes would take over with a more pro set-up.

Now that's the type of paint job any self-respecting low-rider or muscle car fan would rock on any vehicle in his inventory!

It's also not like we don't already have it either! The Daemon currently sports a ghost flame effect although it's hardly noticeable.

So come on Rockstar! We're done with Chrome! We need flames!

Yeah any kind of ability to customize your care more than what's available now would be welcome. I really wish you could custom paint your cars like Forza.

Like Midnight Club.

Since they borrowed allot of the mechanics straight out of MC:LA like the moving up through clouds thingy, they could probably port this over too.

Would be tricky work involved on R*'s part, but would be do'able.

That was actually exactly what I was thinking when I initially posted.

lol, I'm a huge MC fan and didn't notice that the cloud thing was identical.

Would be tricky work involved on R*'s part, but would be do'able.

Count on it that it would never happen then. They like to cheap out and choose the easy way.

I wish they added it so my cars would look even classier without it.

I concur. My Entity would be tits with flames shooting out like Satan's bulletproof Pope-Mobile.

It would cost up 50k + in game probably.

Some cars online are cheaper to buy then hot pink paint.

I know enough about automotive culture to know that flames on cars make them look like generic modded cars.

I would pay that for a mounted minigun in the back of my sandking.

OP, this is perhaps one of the best threads in a while, so thanks for chalking it up.

I agree, flamejobs would be an excellent addition, and wouldn't surprise me to see in the future.

I like the idea of the traditional flamejob, but would also be thrilled to see variations like multliple color options.

Even at a premium of, say a realistic $80,000, it would become the new "Chrome," and only those with enough cash could afford it.

The status of Chrome would take a back seat and you'd soon see threads about the Flamers who think they're so cool... which I'd welcome.

Of course, if you ever played GTA4 online, you may remember the cars with neon lights underneath... that's what I'd love to see.

Cheers! ;)

...on the back of my Blista. Yeah, I just wrote that. :)
