Worst police of all GTA ever.

I Can't be the only one who thinks that the police in GTA V, and GTA Online it's the worst ever existed on any game of this saga.. in that aspect, and being the game so realistic, the police could have been waaaaay better than it is.

 

To start, they are overpowered as f*ck, you can kill 300 of them, and they will keep coming, and keep coming all the time, so i have to guess that the LS police have more than 1 million officers, sometimes they can take even 10 bullets before they die. (god mode before it was cool).

 

To escape, you have to hide like for 5 minutes, it's just boring, you get into an alley and park your car, wait a lot of time, and just when u think the police it's going to leave, they suddenly know where u are, so they walk or drive into the alley and shoot you 'til you look like a colander.

 

and last but not least, the MOST sh*tTY THING OF THE COPS. You are in the middle of the dessert, no one watching you, not even NPC's around so you kill a guy whit a silcenced pistol, and guess what, the cops are on your ass in a second... ¿How do they knew u kill somebody? we'll never know.

 

Basically, the cops are one of the less developed things in this GTA.

They're definitely the worst. 1 star = death sentence. Gta iv AI were much better. At least they couldn't hit you from blind firing from 75+ m away.

Plus the cops have this super boost of acceleration BS

Also the unrealistic response time and the 61040291 hour long search when they know exactly where you are

I like the way the cops are in the game but I agree that they should try to arrest you when you have a 1 star wanted level. Also you should get an automatic 2 star when killing civilians. I managed to get a 3 star wanted level last night punching people out on the boardwalk lol.

 

That said I don't think they're overpowered and it's nice to have them around for no other reason than to go after people that start griefing others.

I was driving around with a 3 stars wanted level, called lester, 3 stars dissapeared, and the next second, i had 3 stars again. wtf?

if you're in a stolen car, the 'remove wanted level' lester option is useless, you will get a wanted level as soon as one of the police cars that is now kicking around the area see's you, only use it if on foot or in your own car

Police should never try to kill, with 1 or 5 stars. They must try to stop you first, and then, if you escape, hit a NPC or a cop, they shoot but they must try to stop and arrest you.

If you get arrested, you pay a massive bail, your car is taken, that's it. I'm tired of those psychopathic cops.

You would think someone from R* had to test the game and was like .. you know what this sucks man ! Pretty much everyone agrees the cops totally blow. Seriously who the f*ck tests these games. Like most things in this game, I just dont understand what went wrong. My conclusion..they dont give a f*ck.

It's way worse in single player, the police are absolutely brutal, they're always on your ass and it's f*cking impossible to shake them unless you're in a supercar

Had 3 stars on me hid in an alley called Lester removed the wanted level. Walked out of the alley headed towards my PV got hit by a police car instant 2 star. To make it worse they then got out and proceeded to shoot me while I was on the ground.

I can almost always evade the police if I have a decent car... put on or take of your mask to stop the helicopter. with experience you will learn. I think the police are perfect in gtav. its a challenge to get away sometimes, you just need to drive like a demon and keep an eye on the radar

Fu*king 2 star cops in this game are like 4 star cops from GTA 4. Way to fu*king aggressive. The rubber band effect is just stupid. I would not expect a police car to be able to keep up with the acceleration of a world class super car. And why the hell do cops ram you head on? Real cops would never do that. And the fact that the police can see you through walls and buildings is beyond annoying.

I am not saying it's impossible to get away, it's just that the cops are over-agressive, which it's unrealistic all the way. They shouldn't b trying to kill you with only 1 star..

imo you can almost always get away on 3 stars if your a good driver keep your eye on the radar and have a fast car. also avoid highways.

I only find them to be overly aggressive on 4 stars and above

The worst part about them in online is how they can open fire with shotguns on a one star.

 

The worst part of them offline is how they don't arrest civillians anymore. They just shoot them dead immediately even if they simply accidentally ram their car.

 

Regarding silenced weapons, I think if you kill someone with no witnesses then there shouldn't be any wanted stars. But if it's a cop with no witnesses, you should gain a flashing 3 star wanted level (cops would pursue any suspicious characters and anyone with a weapon in the area, holstered or otherwise, but they wouldn't know your location)

Ever been flying a helicopter with 3 star's? Gotta love the police helicopter spawning in mid air right in front of you. Over and over. Yeah the 'police are perfect in gtav'. How a game developer get's away with such lazy programming really suprises me
