Entered 3 lobbies last night, as follows:

I wanted to boost my flying stat, so headed to the airport Luxor. Got there to immediately die from an invincible Luxor, flying in and out of hangars, hitting things, crazy, so on to lobby 2.

Again went to airport, flew around a bit then saw a crate drop inbound so got it (measly 2k RP, big whoop). No sooner had I got it some asshat rolled up in a chrome tank! This was out in the sticks somewhere, not tank territory at all so he must've spawned it right there. Went passive but life too short for this sh*t so on to lobby 3.

sh*tstorm at the Eclipse, did d pad down before leaving apartment so I could see dots were out there, hence just walked out to take a look to avoid getting a car blown up. And what do you know, several God moders, a red and 2 others, one with some kind of flamethrower, RPG hitting cars couldn't kill them, was pointless. So for the first time I just thought f*ck this, the game's gone to hell. I can't be the only one to think this way. A level field gankfest is one thing, and dying is part of GTAO life, but these cheaters are taking the enjoyment out of the game.

This is the true thing gonna destroy GTA Online. It destroyed GTA IV Multiplayer!

 

People can blame Rockstar all they want but its the f*cking godmode, hackers, cheaters and glitchers that ruin the game. They are the one that should go invites only session and do that sh*t. I dont care if people shoot me (even they have no reason) its all fun and part of the game. But do it fair!

yes i have ran into a few people using GOD MODE

 

Have yet to see a Chrome tank other than in pics on this forum

 

Havent saw a flame thrower yet

 

I will not say it is not possible for hackers/glitchers to do this

But 3 lobbys back to back .....I can say i have never seen a time just simply switching lobbys didnt resolve the issue

Invite only session is the best if you want to be left alone to increase your stat's. Public lobbies are only good for griefing randoms or hiding in the mini-sub with a bounty on your head.

i think there are every type of sessions every day, and sometimes you have some bad luck.

I think it sucks the OP is disillusioned with the game. My advice would be to join a crew, if not already in one( then maybe time for a move). Not one of the big one's, but one of the under 1000 member crews. Try a few. Then you are much more likely to get in a lobby with some friendly players who are not hackers.

Add some like minded peeps online and play the way you want and enjoy

Like I said, dying is a fact of life, I'm no noob, been playing games online since the original Half Life. I'm in a crew, MP3, have been since lvl 2, I'm now lvl 113. From what I could tell last night only 1 crew member was in any of the lobbies, and wasn't part of the glitching I saw, same with the only friend I saw online in any of the 3. Was just very very bad luck, not experienced anything like it, so wondered if the problem is now an epidemic?

I'd have to agree with the majority and say you are extremely unlucky. I've got quite a bit of time logged in this game and have only come across a few of the things you mentioned a handful of times.

Flamethrower and chrome tank give you away OP. Maybe you did meet an ISO modder and maybe he did grief you, but there's no need to make up extra stuff just to reinforce your point.

 

I've come across maybe 2 or 3 iso modders sunce launch, sure theese guys are annoying, but they are rare too.

If you played gta online long enough, you would know how to kill a hacker. Some secrets are just for those who really need it when it's needed bro.

 

P.s : I've been in a gun shoot out with your crew mp3 before, it was 5 vs one, one being me, they put up a fight, but in the end I still managed to kill them more then they kill me, and then my crew came. Haha.

When he says flamethrower I imagine he means a pistol (or whatever weapon the modder chose) that shoots flames.

 

It is doable.

 

Same with water pistols, their only use is to kill passive players.

 

Watch TV a bit, and lobby hop for 10 minutes, you will find all this and more.

I think last night was trol night, I was in a lobby with 3 rank 1000 and a rank 986
One was in god mode and the others i didn't see (probably flying around on jetpacks)
