They are in .wtd format i used spark to get them but how to convert it to .txd form or whatever is the converting procedure. Please help so that i can begin converting. Tado Hamann Posted March 12, 2014 Share Posted March 12, 2014 Hello, use Spark tool to extract .wtd format from vehicles archive and save the file for example into your desktop. Then you need to download G - Texture (here) to extract textures from .wtd file. Open the file with G - Texture and lead to Textures > Export all Now you should have textures correctly extracted from the .wtd file and you now can begin your conversion. I can't convert those images into BMP or PNG. How to convert those images? I need to convert those textures into GTA SA or GTA VC form. Tado Hamann Posted March 13, 2014 Share Posted March 13, 2014 You can easily convert Direct Draw Surface (.dds) into any kind of image format using Adobe Photoshop with external plugin by NVIDIA Corporation. The tool is called NVIDIA Texture Tools or NVIDIA DDS Plugin. You can get the plugin from official website (here), free as well. If you need any other help, feel free to ask the community. Anyways is this the way the DDS image should come in adobe photoshop after applying the plugin? Tado Hamann Posted March 17, 2014 Share Posted March 17, 2014 (edited) Yes, after installation of the NVIDIA Texture tools, the Adobe Photoshop should now be able to open Direct Draw Surface Images. The DDS also contains "Mipmaps", like you posted upper. You also can easily disable the mipmaping of your texture while you performing import. Cell Tennyson Posted March 23, 2014 Author Share Posted March 23, 2014 Ok so now i've have converted the textures and the .wft model of GTA IV cabbie to GTA VC form (MVL) but the car crashes the game when i try to spawn it. I have not applied the textures but i just want to see the rough model and i think rough model should come but it simply crashes the game when i spawn it. What could possibly be wrong in my conversion process. Of Course i have applied the collision file for the model but the model still crashes the game on spawn, it only appaers in GGMM.. I just wanted to convert some GTA IV vehicles for GTA Vice City or San Andreas using 3 Ds Max on my own... readfx Posted August 3, 2020 Share Posted August 3, 2020 I think this is the right place. So I'm trying to convert a GTA IV weapon to SA. I've managed to extract the WDR model and exported it to DFF. I don't know if that's how to properly convert IV models, so maybe someone can correct me if it isn't. I've also managed to extract the WTD for the texture, but this is where I'm having some trouble. I just saved the texture as PNG and placed it in a TXD. This is what it looks like in-game. https://imgur.com/MzdvMNq Can someone help or tell me what step I'm missing?
