If you drive your Entity XF forwards, you might be trolling.

Blocking someone in the store with a car, doing the dock motion and other various motions while they look out, attack them when they try to get out and then drive back to your house and sticky a car in front of your house. Given that most GTA players are predictable, you know the player you just trolled will be coming around any minute now. Sure enough, they drive right into and/or by the car that you just stickied.

Or, stealing the HPV from another player, taking it to LSC and taking a while then installing an ignition bomb for the player you stole the car from who's waiting outside.

I like to use a cargobob and lift other player's vehicles out of the impound and throw it in the ocean before they can get it.

Trolling is the act of causing someone else anger and pain from embarrassment of being such a pleb in some way that is hilarious for every one else. Simply joining a lobby and screaming into a mic and saying every sex position you did with their mom last night does not count as trolling. It just means you're an annoying ass hole prick.

Oh, so it's straight-up bullying and being a dick? I always suspected.

pretty much. Usually trolling is just bullying, but in a funny manor and not so much harassing the person. One example being is getting the Simeon wanted car and putting a sticky mine on it. Then waiting for someone to grab it, drive to lsc and drive all the way to simeon's garage blowing it up right before they enter inside.

No, it's not griefing.

A griefer is a player in a multiplayer video game who deliberately irritates and harasses other players within the game, using aspects of the game in unintended ways.

Is this The Guy?

Mission trolling: Imagine doing all the work in rooftop rumble, then when you grab the package and run out the other person runs you over and sits his/her car on you until you die. They then take the package and they park right outside madrazos gate and lock their pv doors and wait until you leave the mission.

Agreed, its not griefing. Griefing is something more along the lines of tank spawn killing then proceeding to kill the person once they are in passive mode. Simply picking their car up from impound and dropping it in the ocean is somewhat trolling, but its so used out that its just starting to be a dick move now. Like being rick rolled, it was funny and trolling at first but now it isn't used much anymore. Here is actually an video explanation about trolling from memebase.

using off the radar for creative kills such as spawnkilling with a tank till that bitch leaves

for example crashing into him with a bus or something like that...

or acting like you would pick someone up with your chopper but just land on him several times to kill him

I find griefing way more amusing

To me trolling should not look like a troll attempt. A troll waits and baits you. Sly remarks that on its own may not mean anything but it baits the person into an argument or derailing a thread for example. Straight up going on the offensive is not trolling IMO. Thats greifing and being a douche.

GTA is pretty much a trolling/griefing simulator, if you want to be so.

Borderline constant omniscience of where players are in the world ? Check.

Means to make yourself invisible to strike on unsuspecting players ? Check.

A whole world of hurt at your fingertips to unleash your murderous creativity ? Check.

Overpowered vehicles that can be spawned ad libitum for minimal costs ? Check.

Repercussions ? Minimal to none...so that's yet another check.

Players who just want to PVE and customize their cars in peace for you to prey on ? Check.

Brock Elvis

I have no definition of trolling for this game.

Currently I have not experienced any irritating actions from child that's given me an emotional response.

Griefing on the other hand, I love the sh*t out of people that can successfully do it; it puts a smile on my face to know people still have an evil sense of humour.
