Can the music be improved?

I like some of the stations in GTAO/GTA V (others I hate). But how hard could it be to add music from time to time? And what happened to being able to block those stations that really annoy you? It seems that every time I get into certain of my online vehicles, they are playing noise that makes me want to rip the stereo out.

Just listen to the stations on the left side of the wheel, this is the only solution.

I'd pay 1 million gta dollars for a default mute button.

Every time i get in a car I either need to change the station or turn it off completely usually affecting my driving and sometimes causes me to crash.

I have a stereo at home with the music I prefer if I want to listen to music.

Music taste is subjective.

If you don't like the music they have, just blast something on Spotify.

You guys are amazingly bad at creative thinking.

1. MUTE the music.

2. Put music on a USB stick

3. Plug USB into your 360

4. Play GIGS worth of YOUR OWN MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JFC, it's not that hard.

Two things about the music selection:

One: music takes up space. This is space that is better spent in the retail release of the game on game content. Radio is filler. If you dont like the music put on your own.

Two: licensing music for this stuff costs money. This is money better spent on more content.

I feel bad for you guys, I love listening to my own tunes and cruising in the game. I would have given up on this game a long time ago if I had to listen to same 6 songs on every radio station over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over...

i just pick out radio stations that have songs i like and cycle between them

if one of them's playing a song i like, then i'll stick with it for a minute or two, 'til a song i hate starts playing

on FlyLo: Stonecutters, WindowLicker (Aphex Twin), Getting There, The Kill etc, most of those songs I like. but then "Garbage" by Tyler the Creator starts playing and i instantly switch, since i find that song dull and annoying

West Coast Classics: usually i pop into that station in hopes that Dollars and Sense (DJ Quik) is playing, thats my favorite song on there. again, i like most of the music on this station too, but then I hear "so you wanna be a gangster", and immediately switch, as I hate that song too

then I go to Soulwax: yet again, i like most of their songs, but a certain song i cant remember off the top of my head plays, and i switch back to either FlyLo or WCC

it's weird, i only like 3 stations and all of them just have that ONE song i can't stand listening to

And now I'm racking my brain trying to think of an occasion that XBL has been down since the game released. I can't think of one, so that's at least once less than PSN. Not to mention that console modders are said to prefer the network where new accounts cost them nothing.

Those are things I personally don't mind paying for, your mileage may vary.

R* should be getting paid royalties not paying license fees! The paid downloads of all these songs has gone through the roof since GTAV launch!

That's my favorite too, but even if you love every song the music gets old after a while. I guess there is always the mute button.

Potentially quite hard. Aside from the overall size of the game and having to increase it to accomodate extra files, permission has to be granted by the owners of the music. if they say no there ain't nothing anyone can do. Don't know where you're getting this block radio stations thing from. I don't recall ever seeing anything about this. The radio can be switched of in a matter of milli-seconds and you can listen to your own music thus providing a first-class solution to your concern.

Also, I never see tanks online. They are not as prevalent on XBL.

Furthermore, I play with a headset so having a console that plays music over any game is practical.

I have a PS3, if it could play music over any game and had a controller with analog triggers that would be ideal.

Blocking radio stations may have been another game, but it is definitely a feature I would like here. As for it being quick and easy to switch off the radio, that is true. But I have several vehicles that every time I get in are always set to some station that I hate. And if I change the station while I'm in the garage, it goes right back to that irritating station when I leave.

At this point I think the mute button is the best option.
