Secret room in Harmony

this room is located in a hotel in Harmony, was used in the video of tv. (watch?v=x0hyCGTmzQA)

 

 

I came back to this hotel, and enter it with the creator mode. and look what happened:

leftover food at the bottom*, equal to the video.

 

would be accessible hotel?

Nah, I tried to get into it using other glitches too, and it seems they removed it from the game.

OT: I know the garage in Harmony has an openable door, one of the garages on the corner of Route 68 and Joshua Road, at least.

Definitely. You add 10 rooms in a building and I'll guarantee you I would have 15+ hours accumulated gameplay.

Running in a hotel from the cops, take cover, blind fire your shotgun, move to the next room maybe...blow some sh*t up.

Yeah, and that's only a hotel....

Definitely. You add 10 rooms in a building and I'll guarantee you I would have 15+ hours accumulated gameplay.

15+ hours for just 10 rooms of that size? If anything, it'll give you about 15 minutes worth of exploring.

I dont know, I played GTA III for a hell of a long time back in the day. Lack of interiors didn't bother me then, and isn't too much of a big deal now.

Tell that to the hospital interiors of IV. I spent so much time fighting off cops in them. It was so much fun and gave me hours of gameplay.

Yeah, because it was easy. You could hide behind the wall or the desk and shoot at the front door the cops funneled through.

 

I'll take challenge over easy any day.

i never understood why yall like interiors that much, I mean they're cool and all but it's only use to me would to just camp in there and kill cops and if it has an door in the back i would just never return back, all the fun is outside running around and murdering the AI/Players in my opinion

Just what exactly do you intend to do in these interiors? Stand around for a few seconds and smirk to yourself, thinking all the while 'shyeah, I'm in a f*cking ROOM, MAN. A ROOM.'?

 

I don't see why people are so upset about not getting into the buildings. Unless you're all RP geeks that think you have a much better life inside the game.

People want interiors because it adds to realism. Why do people want bridges, or buildings at all? You could also argue those add "nothing" to the experience. Every little detail adds to the greater world at large.

Yeah, but that's real life. The fun of GTA is subverting that. I'm not upset we lost the burger shot and cluckin bell interiors in GTA5, but on the other hand I can see why people want interiors. It adds another level of depth to the city.

 

For example, it would be cool to have a chase through hotel room with a break away wall to some other shocked persons room like that scene in Scarface. Also, it just adds another layer to tactical strategy when evading/fighting the cops. But I feel like interiors were just not meant to be with gta5. Perhaps in the next game or games after that.

That's the room they used for the TV show. It doesn't mean they were planing on doing a Jack strangers and freaks missions.

Mass Effect has these secret rooms. It's like an in-game camera the records the npcs interactions and transmit it to you every time you press play.

This interior I'm not so upset about, it looks like where they filmed the Jack Howitzer show segment, so it had a purpose. I'm not really miffed about one little hotel room although I agree there should be more interiors in GTA games.

Nail on head moment right here - this game was about getting out in the world and seeing what they created OUTSIDE. This was about a BIG world that people could race around in at high speed, or fly over a little more slowly than in previous games (case in point - crossing the map in a hydra in 30 seconds in San An).

 

This was about recreating an environment and an atmosphere, and I think they've truly excelled at that.

Because in real life you can't pretend to be a badass biker for a coupe hours killing people in hotels, rob a burgershot and then hide out in an apartment building while holding off the police.

 

I'm not one of these people that walks to the shops in GTA and then walks back to my house, but imagination is what GTA is all about, if you play the game just to do the missions then fair enough. Like someone else said, GTA IV had lots of similar apartment buildings that you could just walk into and it was much better knowing you could run through it/jump from the roof or whatever rather than driving round V thinking 'that would be a cool place to... oh well'

Some people dont find the use for interiors, which is completely ok.

For alot of people though, it makes for creativity.

It would really make cop chases more intense also. I would rather them be there and me not using them, then not having them there and in need of them.

For example, wouldn't you wanna shoot up the strip club, then run out the back door and make your last stand at the nightclub?

Sort of like the Russian Cabaret club in Hove Beach...but with more NPCs
