As most of us know, hackers were able to play Heists and stuff. Most of us felt disappointed about it.

 

Now why the f*ck is Rockstar taking so long to release them?

 

Because they're making it better. They will be a lot better than that sh*t we've seen in youtube whores videos.

 

It will be good, lets all sit our asses and wait for it, in the meanwhile, drink a beer and chill the f*ck out.

 

Or water if you're not into alcohol.

Funmw2 and his server buddy were hosting a created mission. The more I looked at that the more I realized it was bs. (Specifically mission details changing between vids I saw, an early version had you delivering gold to Gerald, when people called that bullsh*t he switched it to deliver to Lester)

 

If anything that 'mission' will be the finale. And I could imagine a proper finale will be more In depth and hectic than that.

As most of us know, that "Heist" footage was also fake.

 

You sure about that?

Pretty sure, mission details were switched out. If that was a true copy of the heists it wouldn't have varied.

Those hyping it up from excitement, others who have hyped it up because they're bored with the current crop of missions and those who hate Rockstar and say heists will never happen, cause that's a form of hype too.

 

This is why I try not to obsess over it at all, and just play the game.

That's why hundreds of people managed to access a mysterious 'Ornate Bank Heist' via DNS Servers.

Stop being a trophy whore like some asshats around here...

I think it's more along the lines of people on here acting like heists are going to be some huge game changer.

 

This isn't payday 2 it's going to be fairly simple given the existing mechanics of this game.

It's not going to be that good. They wont be like heists were in story mode... they wont be like the bank heist from IV... they wont even be as good as the casino heist from San Andreas.

 

Everything this game does it hasn't capitalized on. It's not excellent at doing one thing, but rather "mediocre" to "a bit above average" at everything.

Pretty much what I'm thinking as well, I expect it to be more or less like the fake 'Ornate Bank Heist' only with more voice acting and some cutscenes.

Those videos on youtube are probably nothing like the real heists. Probably just test missions for R* that they left in. I wouldn't even worry about them being as bland and boring like that. If it was anything like that, then it truly would not take this long. I don't care how much you hate R*, everything they make is pretty much worth the hype. And they have really never lied or misled their fans. I'm still excited for the heists myself, I just hope they're as good and complex as the singleplayer heists, though I doubt they will be on par with those.

actually, that's exactly what I'm asking for... if they'd release multiple garages and the motorcycles from TLAD, they could take as long as they want to release heists...

Heist could very well be a completely awesome, game-changing experience. Of course, actually being excited about it though is so passe when you can be like every other dumbass on this forum who hates everything about GTAO and calls it the worst thing they've ever played (yet still played).

 

But even if I'm right and heists are awesome, one of those same "every other dumbasses" I spoke of earlier will somehow find a way to complain about it regardless.
