Yes, you can use just the left stick to float around. Stay off the throttle. Also you can't climb into it. Your friend has to hover above the water to allow you to jump in.

They need to add an amphibious helicopter that can land in water and take off from it, it would add good possibility of search and rescue missions on the water.

For every time you have, or before you get bored (at least).

Fun fact: if you hit the back end on the ground a few times, you can open the back door.

Does that apply for the Titan?

It's different.

On the Titan, you have to go on foot and melee hit the door on the side until it opens, then move the plane forward a bit after you see it open a little bit

With the Cargobob, you have to climb a few feet, then pull back and hold L2 (or whatever it's called on Xbox so the back end of the helicopter hits the ground. Do that for a few times, and it should open.

So is there some trick to this?

I tried to get it to happen last night and the Cargobob sank like a rock.

Make sure you do it very slowly, and the Cargobob MUST be flat.

Ahh, that's the problem then, I set it down too fast. Thanks, I'll give it another go.

Make sure to bring your friends! If they don't know about this, you can show them your "awesome hovering skills"! xD

Will do, I gotta get some practice first. I have a feeling calling them out the Alamo and drowning them in the thing won't go over very well.

Just let the copter (works with every one in the game) land by itself. It sits down on the water and starts to float.

I can't proove it other, than with my snapmatics, but I did snapped just two of them, the Maverick and the Frogger (which is also not the best proof, because from the cockpit aren't well pictures though). I did it then with a Cargobob and with a Buzzard (the non armed version), but not snapped them.

They should add the HD versions of the Sea Sparrow and Skimmer.

I'd spend some money on a sea plane if you could buy one in-game.
