Malcot
I read so many post of people struggling to explain where they've found things on the map. Why on earth did R* not give us some kind of simple grid reference so we could just tell people exactly where stuff is?! Anyone think this would have been a good idea? ashbashbluesfan

ZakeBudek
Once you know the mask shop is half a click south south west of the golf course, what's the big deal? Edited March 11, 2014 by ZakeBudek

Just in case you didn't know, when you take a picture of something in-game and it saves to your Social Club gallery, the location of the photograph is also saved. Makes it much easier to find stuff. Â Also, the map that came boxed with the game does have a grid. Malcot

IH8PITT
I never realised this, thanks. Going to dig out my map now! No problem. I don't think many people realize this, because I doubt many people use the map in the box. It is useful to have the grid. It's very helpful, too, that our Snapmatic pics are saved with location information. I've used that to help record vehicle spawn sites.
pulse-gibson
http://http://gta-5-map.com/ Maybe one could email the team responsible for this website with this idea.
Cudwieser
If the link worked. Tell you what an in game co-ordinate system wouldn't be a bad idea (ephemeral maybe-, but usable). Great for helping set up sniping posts. Just an idea though.
