AlabamaFatts
Hey All, This may have been brought up in the past, but I felt the need to bring this issue to light again, fresh and new. While Rockstar has done a phenomenal job on creating such a beautiful, realistic, and vibrant game world for us, I feel as though they are still holding back. Don't get me wrong. Having an apartment in Downtown Los Santos is great, and offers a convenient startup/resting point that puts you close to any activity/shop you could need. BUT, what about those who like to unwind, and take things at a slower pace? I personally would love to have my character live in Paletto Cove, Grapeseed, or North Chumash. Or even in the desert area of Sandy Shores. This would allow us more of a chance to take a slower start when we load in, and also would cut down on getting slaughtered by a person (if not more), as soon as you leave your apartment. The city is very congested, and forces everyone into the same tight radius from the get go. And if you are lucky enough to survive the initial step out of the door, your next move (if your like me) is to quickly check the map for any oncoming ragers. Now, I understand that we can buy garage in Blaine County, but we all know that there is a big difference between the garages and apartments. Plus, if your a nature lover, how cool would it be to load up, give your player a shower, put on a fresh new outfit, and step out to see wild deer feeding on your front lawn, or the beautiful mountain view? That, to me, would culminate the fantastic experience they've put together. Everything seems to be so meticulously crafted, placed just right, and having an extreme attention paid to each little detail. So, by giving us the opportunity to buy an apartment/house out in Blaine County would not only appease a large fan base, but it would also allow us to enjoy the environment that they've crafted for us, just that much more. You guys/gals (Rockstar), have given us such a beautiful world, and I'm sure that you all devoted countless hours to perfect it, so I just ask that you let us enjoy your hard work to the fullest. You put in the hard work, in hopes that it would be noticed and appreciated. This will let us do that in a more enjoying and effective way. And trust me, those of us that have taken time to roam the country, mountains, beaches, islands, and cities, have definitely taken notice to the kind of work that went into it. As a person that started out on 8bit consoles, and pixelated environments/objects, this truly is all I could've hoped for out of a video game, basing it on all aspects. Thank you again, and please hear my plea. Lol Grimase, ashbashbluesfan, Vaulttec and 2 others
Voggs
That's a nice idea, it takes a lot of time to get in Blaine County if you don't quick save as Michael or Franklin, Trevor is the only one that has a safehouse in LS and Sandy Shores. But I'm pretty sure this will be Rockstar's reaction, they won't even answer. Â Â AlabamaFatts
~Tiger~
The city is very congested, Plus, if your a nature lover, how cool would it be to load up, give your player a shower, put on a fresh new outfit, and step out to see wild deer feeding on your front lawn, or the beautiful mountain view? Â Awesome post, which I've summarised above. Â I hate cities, I was born and brought up in the countryside and whilst I enjoy city gameplay, I like to relax by driving or flying in the countryside. Â This is why I play as Trevor. I've tried the other two but to me, the best thing about Los Santos is getting out of it. I Like to start and end my game in the countryside and unfortunately, Trevor's trailer is the next best thing! AlabamaFatts
AlabamaFatts
My initial post was more suited towards Online play, but after you both brought up Story Mode, I can see how it would be perfect for that mode as well, seeing as though there's not much to do after completion. Would definitely promote continued gameplay after the missions are gone. Win-win on both sides, right? I honestly can't see any drawbacks. Just gives you one more choice. TheKidKid415
R* should have built a nicer neighborhood in Blaine county and in señora desert AlabamaFatts
JC Hammer
Set your spawn location to last location and then start and end your sessions at the home of your choice! Your car is one call away  I squatted here for a while but it was too close to the war zone,   Now I'm living further up North  Edited March 11, 2014 by jcph3 AlabamaFatts
AlabamaFatts
Jcph, that's a cool trick. Didn't think to do that. But it's only a front. You still don't get access to the house/apartment, and can't use any of their features, shower, wardrobe, tv, green juice...... That's what I'm looking for. If they add heists to online play, I want to have access to a planning board, and still have a house in the mountains. ashbashbluesfan
there is 2 six car garages in sandy shores that could be good for someone fairly new, but no 10 car property and you can't do heists from a garage

I was never in my apartment anyways since we could spawn in our Garage. AlabamaFatts
Garrett2013
If we ever do end up getting a second garage in the country is defiently take my sandking out of my current one and put it in the country one along with a atv & a Sanchez AlabamaFatts

I would love a setup like that! Is so much fun to go tearing through the desert with the off-road vehicles. The BF Injection is a blast to take over a mountaintop at full speed, and you get some sick hang time. And I'm not so much interested in more garages, just the ability to buy an apartment or house out there. Would be nice to be able to have the same kind of options on both sides of the map, as far as apartment activities. Thanks for the input. Â Jcph, that's a cool trick. Didn't think to do that. Now, they'd just have to let us use tress as planning boards for online heists, and I'd be on board. Lol. Very cool idea though. You are the type of person that could outlast a zombie apocolypse, my friend.
