Snapmatic camera glitches?

Does anyone know the multiple ways to take a picture of your whole characters body with your camera besides just selfies I've seen other do this but don't know how to?

walk away from your car, press y/triangle to get in your car, then quickly pull up your phone and go to snapmatic and take a pic, youll get a 3rd person view of your character walking towards your car is a) your quick enough and b) your far enough away...
