Is Base Invaders bugged now?

Ever since patch 1.11, I've been having trouble with Base Invaders. Every time, about 10secs after destroying the last Lazer, the mission ends with Failed. Saying the Cargobob has been destroyed. It doesn't matter what Lazer I destroy last, the same thing happens. I'm doing this on solo, so it isn't like some knob is heading over to the hanger and blowing it up either. I didn't notice anything different from previous versions. The soldiers still respawn constantly. Did Rockstar implement some BS time limit to this mission, or something?

you sure its the cargobob? might be the plane...

 

on the soliders thing.. R* obviously chatting BS about patching it then, can't complain bit of extra RP..

If they wanted to limit the mission, they'd just remove it from you job list. It is a shame if Base Invaders is indeed bugged as it is one of the best missions.

Yeah, it's a bug. The Cargobob catches fire for some unknown reason.

I just did base invaders last night and this morning w/ no problems. when using a buzzard it sometimes takes a few for it to register destroying the lazer, but still had no problem finishing it. I'm on the ps3 btw.

failed twice in a row and I was like WTF I'm suppose to blow it up??... Third time it all worked.

 

I'm 100% sure it failed because I blew up the Lazer... the Cargobob was fine, 100% sure. Failed the second I blew up the last lazer.

We'll the soldiers do stop spawning after so long I did this with a buzzard I went though three of em & after bout 20 so they did put an RP cap but you still get quite a bit

I think they stop spawning around 40 something. I think that's what my kill count said, I usually kill them all if I'm in a buzzard.

I think No Hay Broca is also bugged. Was running it not long ago, and we got to the part where the Boss flees, so we lit him up and got a screen that said "Mission Failed: The Boss was killed"

Interesting, just did this mission last night and I killed the leader with a buzzard but it ended with success.

I'm on Xbox. Never got the failed to destroy lazer message though. It was always the Cargobob. Also noticed sometimes that there'll be other Lazers you can steal, and blow up everyone with.

Same thing happened to me when I was playing Trash Talk. Some crazy sh*t's going on that's for sure.

I just got the mission failed a lazer was destroyed notification again, a moment ago. Trash talk is bugged too. Kill the boss and it fails. I've seen both of these bugs pre-1.10
