I want one of these off road cars, but I have like no experience with them so anyone who has used these vehicles before your only is greatly valued!

Sandking XL is the ultimate offroader. But I have a Merryweather Mesa because it looks good and doesnt sacrifice much offroad capabilities

Clean rebel, its such a pretty car[/quote

Does it have the mods of the rusty one? If it doesn't is the extra performance worth the loss?

The Rusty Rebel is the only one that's bulletproof from the rear, that's kinda important in Free roam. The clean Rebel lacks all the mods.

Both of the Biftas are cool but they'll get you killed in FR.

Not sure what good a Sand King is in FR, can't corner, not a lot of off road opportunities.

My pick

BF injection is good, hard to get shot from the rear too :-)

Is the Injection faster or slower than the Bifta?

I think injection is fastest...I would go with this one...for off road and speed. Plus it looks the business!

Depends on what you want and what type of terrain you're going over.

For realistic off-roading the Sandking is the only choice. But for just driving fast on something other than road take one of the others.

None of the above. BF Dune Buggy that has all engine mods from the All Options LSC glitched on is the fastest and most fun to drive around in free-roam. Midnight Purple Pearlescent looks sweet and they are unique. The Custom off-road wheels also come with no rear axle so it just floats next to the wheels.

These things just fly like a bird when you leap them up and off a cliff!

Off road vehicles are my favorite to drive. I have a fully modded Sandking XL, a baja dirty Rebel, a clean Rebel, and a merc Mesa. By far the best is the Sandking, it has the most power. The longer wheel base of the XL is rarely a disadvantage so I prefer it. There is no difference between the clean and dirty Rebels as far as my testing has revealed. And while they don't have the horsepower of the Sandking, I find the Rebels more fun to drive. I have the merc Mesa because I think it just looks bad ass, but it is by far the hardest to drive, it wants to flip over at every bump and is very vulnerable to over-steer. Turn the wheel too hard and you will overturn it. It is also underpowered IMO, even fully modded. But it reminds me of a Toyota Land Cruiser so for me it is a must have.

So here's my problem: you guys say the sandking is the best (and I guess it is) but I prefer the aesthetics of some of the other options. I still like the sandking I will have to think it over, but thanks for the feedback and info guys.

In an ideal GTA the Rebel would probably be the best all around off-roader and the Sandking would have no competition for threading deep waters but since it's GTA V we are talking about; I'd say the Entity is probably the better off-roader.

I found myself a clean rebel last night at palomino highlands. I wouldn't have any other off roader as this just looks so nice. If you have the patience to find one DO IT! As far as what's the 'best performance wise I have no idea, I'm all about looks :)

BF Injection.

You can make it fast, its manuverable, reasonably resiliant and will work nicely on a city road, through the grass/desert or blasting up a mountain.

Its also equipped with the timeless flat-4 aircooled VW engine that the AZN fetishists think Subaru invented.

If it has to be offroad then it depends what you're looking for out of it but the best blends for me are:

BF Injection: Fastest (Bifta/Dune Buggy a little too compromised in traffic/gunfire), tough, some bullet resistance from rear.

Canis Bodhi: Second fastest and generally best all-rounder, seats 4, can take immense punishment, minimal bullet resistance though, many customisation options.

Sandking: Ok performance and ability to drive over many obstacles (including cars), huge.

The others simply aren't as good, I've owned them all. The only other advantages are bullet proof rear possible with rusty Rebel and Duneloader. The Rebel performance doesn't match it's hype, it's mid-pack at best for actual off-roading.

No-one ever drives a Duneloader or Canis Bodhi in-game so they're a bit more exclusive, for me the overall best option and with a very customisable look is the Canis Bodhi.

For real individuality the Duneloader (not my pic):

Mr. Muramasa

I use a Bifta.

I don't really like the feel of other off-road vehicles as opposed to the Bifta, I feel like I have more control with it than other vehicles.

I did used to have an Injection, but I found myself flying all over the place after driving over a small bump...
