They made it to skate shops cause they"re meant to be skateboarding shoes that's why they're Nike SB and they really are good skate shoes, I agree some of them are hideous mostly the newer ones. The older ones from 2005 and before are some of the best sneakers. It's all about the hype now though people camp out for them just to resell them for triple the price or they just hold them for years in hopes the price goes up.

 

Hell looks at the Yeezy's they're one of the ugliest pairs of sneakers and they sold out in less than a minute you cant even get a pair now unless your willing to spend like $3000

Nah not meant to be. Some would just get shredded. For example those neon Osiris's.....c'mon. Yes I miss skate shoes back then. I still want a new pair of Vallely's.... all I see now is those stupid hightops(yes some are alright and may give better support), all those kind that look like older vans or vans(this also reminds me of Airwalks back in the day haha) themselves, and the same generic skate shoe that every company still has left. It's all the same damn shoe with different colors or some ahole name..or better yet....Metal Mulisha.....I mean wtf is that garbage...I guess I'll just ride Superstars II. Pretty sure they will be around a while.

Nikes are good for skating, when I used to skate I used to wear Kostons, and still do even though I stopped skating but, they aren't high top and a super comfortable everyday shoe imo.
