Today my crew was featured on Crew Cut

No.. not at all, just people to quit being miserable cocknuggets on this forum. lmao, learn to converse with people without being a complete doucheweed.

Nah, never had ZT on the Crew Cut. Congratulations to you guys though. I've gotten up to 360 members by promoting all by myself. I think that's it's own accomplishment.

That's cool man, I like havin a small crew, close knit sh*t y'know? That's why I posted this just so we can know what is kinda in store for our crew lmao

Just curious but what does having a featured Crew earn you other than more members and advertising?

 

Crews are completely worthless in this game unfortunately.

Lol idk man that's what I'm sayin, i dont really like a big crew, our crew started out as 7 guys and grew to about 60 in two days, and now we're on this crew cut thing and we have over 100 in a matter of hours. So idk, I only play with those 7 guys haha.

My crew was there today, the departed mc. We've gained about 50 new people since.

What a serious crew..........gotta love these clans with boasting numbers, the quality is ............I need to take my ass back to counterstrike. This kinda stuff is such a joke.

Lol well my crew and all the other crews on there today had SVG emblems as well.

 

Funny you should say that, I looked at this and thought 'wow, most of those emblems actually look like they were made in the editor'.

OT of course getting featured will grow your membership. Duh. Thinly disguised boasting thread is thinly disguised.

Why?

 

If you like Crews because it gives you someone to play with i understand.

 

But has your Crew ever won a battle against another Crew? Are those stats tracked somewhere? What perks are there for Crews vs players that are not in one, other than a bit more RP when playing together and the ability to place a Crew emblem on items?

 

My point is that it was installed into MP3's MP much better than it is in GTA:O and to me that is dissapointing. It should have evolved and not taken a step back.

I only played 1 match of Max Payne online so I don't know how crews functioned there. GTA Online honestly isn't competitive enough to me, to consider crew vs crew stuff, since the game just doesn't seem like it should be taken to that level.

 

Why I like crews:

 

-The RP bonus. A little is better than nothing

 

-More people to do missions with (invite all crew members option)

 

-Joining crew members sessions. Just last night I joined GTAO and helped a crew member fight 3 people. It's a whole big network of backup.

 

-Social Club. I enjoy the emblems and hierarchy system and such.

 

Especially with the new update where enemies appear on your radar in deathmatches if they are in your line of sight, GTA hardly requires the skill to warrant the same crew stuff Max Payne 3 offered.

Fair enough. I cant argue with the perks you mentioned.

 

I played a ton of MP3 MP and the nice part about it was that in any game mode i was playing with my crew members vs other crews it tracked the number of kills for us vs them, much like it is done with PvP in free roam in GTA:O.

 

It was very satisfying to win multiple battles vs other crews and to see those stats actually tracked and to have the game notify you when a battle was starting and who ended up winning. You could have mupltiple battles going on in just one match of Gang Wars or TDM. It was awesome :)

 

The Crew leaderboards dont even operate correctly for GTA:O on the Social Club page.

 

Like i said i just wish it had evolved, and to me it took a step back.

He's referring to Crew Feuds, which definitely should make its way over to GTA sooner or later. Basically if there's two crews in a session with more than one member and one of your crew members kills one of their members multiple times, it starts a crew feud. Feuds are basically a Team Deathmatch strictly between the two crews, but can happen simultaneously in any session. That's how they worked in MP3. So you could be in a TDM, a Feud starts, and then you got a separate TDM going on at the same time, only keeping count of the two crews involved.

Thanks for summing it up better than i did. It really was alot of fun in MP3 and i hope to see it implemented in GTA:O in the same way very soon!

I don't play with any more than that anyways.Having now seen other comments you've made here, fair enough. Bragging accusation retracted.

I've considered submitting SURF for crew cut but I always think better of it. We've grown steadily past 300 without really actively promoting or recruiting, since people find us through the Surfer appreciation thread. So its rare to wind up with members that don't have that common interest. Hell I don't think we even have a post in the recruitment forum...
