Premium vehicles (FREE ROAM)

Rashers-

Recommended Posts

Do you think Rockstar should allow us to insure premium vehicles that drive around in free roam ? At a cheaper or higher price of purchasing it from a website ? I think it'd make the cars only available from the websites more appealing to players, you see a hardtop Banshee, all you have to do is take it to LSC and insure it, wether that's 80k or 120k, doesn't matter, you got the version you wanted.

Now, this isn't because Rockstar hasn't implemented an option for us to choose wether we want the cabriolet or a hardtop, it's because when I see a certain car driving around, it appeals to me a lot more than an image on a website, some cars have stock colours that aren't available at LSC. They could make the spawns of these vehicles less frequent aswell, I think the variation in price would affect what cars players have in their garages a lot more than it does currently, especially if it's cheaper than buying the desired car from the website it's available on.

It'd bring another fun element to the game if you like, searching around trying to find a Stinger GT because finding one and paying for it at LSC when purchasing insurance, say about 775k, (or taking it to your garage and it prompts you to pay 775k to add it to your garage), makes that car more special, because you put the time in to find it. They could vary the spawns too, maybe make special cars like the Stinger GT only spawn in big house drive ways, not the same house every time though.

It's just an idea and something to discuss, I'll try and space the text into paragraphs, as I'm on mobile and don't notice the wall if text. I don't expect everyone to agree, nor do I expect this to be implemented into the game, I just wanted to share it as it's not the first time I've thought about the feature.

No, you're trying to get the best stuff cheaper than having to buy it.

At this point, it's too late for this. People have spent millions to fill their garage and opening this up now would be spitting in their faces.

i would settle for being able to insure it for the same price as buying it

atleast then, we'd be able to choose between vehicle variations rather than getting random sh*t each time

Is this The Guy?

If made this way at the beginning of the game would be alright but right now its too late, with everyone that spent millions on their garages making premium cars free now would make no sense.

Edit: what he said

I never mentioned they should be free, I was talking about a feature that would allow us to nab the desired car that you just found for a higher or cheaper price than it is on the in-game website. It could be higher than the website price for the reasons you have gave, and other people could reply for reasons for it to be cheaper than the in-game website.

I enjoy looking for my cars over ordering it to my garage, but that's just me. (Speaking of cars both available through in-game websites and that can be found and insured.)

Yeah, I would love to see us being able to insure them. If only to make the title more credible, as we're all playing Grand Order Auto now.

Well, I have both my garages full, but wouldn't mind this at all. It's not like it's easy to find an Entity or other super on the street.

Let's say you get a 25% discount by getting it of the street, that'd be 250k for an Adder. 250k is made in a bit over an hour grinding rr...try to find an Adder in that time on the street!

that's kinda what they did with clothes. we spent hundreds of Ks on clothes, then come these f*cking outfits for a couple hundred bucks. never bought one, so i dunno if you then can also use the single pieces separately but even if not it's a dick move. especially since one of my favorite combos is almost exactly copied in one of the outfits.

If they allow people insure premium vehicles then there should be some rules.

1. You cannot upgrade said premium car

2. You risk getting 2-Star police every time you drive the car

3. You cannot sell the car

4. If you get the car impounded there's a 50/50 chance the car can be destroyed

The outfits cost $100 if you own all of the clothing items. If there is an item or items in the outfit that you don't own, the price of those items are added to the initial $100.

So in other words, useless.

Here is what they should do.

Allow us to steal premium vehicles off the street. But there are two catches.

1. Insurance is expensive as hell. Maybe half the price as buying the vehicle online.

2. Cannot be sold. Or if it can, then at a very, VERY low price point.

But I don't really care and have never really had an issue with this personally, just thought I'd give my opinion on something I that might work.

if this was out when the game was first released, I woulda been one happy level 6. go into a clothes store straight away and buy the hornet outfit.

OP: I would like that feature, but like others have said, it's too late for most.

Did nobody say cash card yet? Just checking.
