I feel that the like dislike system in theory is good. It doesn't get used correctly though. Like should be for a well made track or DM that doesn't leave you guessing where to go. No props in your way that are unnecessary and good placement. Adequate Spawn points no spawn killing opportunities, plenty of cover ect. Dislike should be the opposite criteria.

People use like dislike freely though. I see people win races like the commute and they like it. Next race they get rammed and lose so they dislike it. This is not how the system was intended to be used

I agree, races that are disliked a lot should also reduce the frequency they appear for random races. PTF is consistently disliked whenever I play but is still the most frequent random match.

If the like/dislike system worked right then TDM maps that are foocking broken like Saving Ryan Pieces or the stupid Tugz Fight would have like 2% or 3%.... But i bet my crotch that what doesnt work is most of the gamers brains and thus they are incapable of vote right, even if they think they do.

I feel that if people disliked Jumps x3 more it should be unverified. same with PTF. Instead all the people who did good like the race and people who lose dislike. I dislike Saving ryans privates PTF and Jumps x3 no matter how well I did because they are horrible

I thought there was a dislike feature on GTAF.

I was about to go on a button frenzy.

The game has been out how long and you have only just realised this?

I have realized it from the start but still i see it abused. I have great races that are challenging. people dislike them because they dont want to use their brakes.

I also dislike Simeon Gerald and Lamar missions because 5 min mission pays like 500 bucks less than ammo costs for the mission

More people today dislike mt races because it isn't full of jumping and challenges you to maneuver your car.

It's a vote on the job itself, but many players use it as a statement to the others in their immediate presence.

It's as broken as consistency among humans.

I dislike "Jumps Jumps Jumps" every time. It's too short to pay out well, you can't even set it to slower cars and make it last longer, there's that spot where there's only one way through, which is horribly reminiscent of a job created so the maker had an advantage. Bottom line: It's all about smashing or getting smashed. A "drag-derby", if you would.

And "Jump and Die" is nothing but a mess, IMHO,

No, I always press like unless somebody did something really stupid or annoying. I don't play user created garbage though, so this is mostly about missions.

^^^ You're an idiot.

You use your only chance to express your butthurt, because to let it go... Oh, we can't do that.

But this one time gesture to express your feelings leaves a lasting impression on a perfectly good job.

You are gay.

I've been preaching this forever now.

That being said I do enjoy jumps jumps jumps and commute slipstream derby every now and then.

Although his approach was flamey, his point still stands.

I don't care, the whole voting system doesn't work properly anyway. Me pressing the appropriate button won't fix it.

If I dislike a certain job (x) amount of times, I shouldn't be thrown back into it when I join Quick Job.

That would probably fix the whole problem with the voting system.

iIm pretty certain you only get 1 vote, voting differantly next time on the same track just changes your previous vote

edit dnfs shouldnt get a vote as its always dislike

people dislike them because they dont want to use their brakes.

Truer words have never been spoken. I made a pretty sweet track the other day, had a mixture of straights and bends. Up near the vineyard, most people wouldn't break and go over the edge. I took note of the names and knew they'd be the ones who dislike and I was right. I'm not saying it was the reason, they may have genuinely disliked my track but more often than not people use it to show their frustration. I've noticed also when you overtake someone in first place during the last part of any track they'll dislike it. It's not the tracks fault, it's catch-up/slipstream/host's fault.

it's obvious that it doesn't work because every rockstar created job has a rating of 87% or 86% :D did you guys recognize this?

Agreed that system is not working as well as it should or could.

If I am voting wether I like a job or not why do I need to do it time and time again for the same job? I have already voted saying I like or dislike it. Leave me the f**k alone now. Stop asking me the same question.

It also makes no difference that I can tell to the jobs either offered or randomly chosen. If I vote I dont like Jumps x3 for example why do I get it when quick joining a race. Same with missions. I dont like Lamars jobs that take me half an hour and give me $500 and 500rp. Why if I have disliked it does Lamar keep messagine me for the same job.

Anyway /rant

Related: They cut the waiting time on the voting screen instead of the like/dislike screen.

I would actually like a minute to see what jobs are being offered on the voting screen and make a decision but instead two people choose "replay" and that's it we're done.

I don't want to sit there for two minutes waiting to see who liked or disliked the job.

Dislikes should be disregarded for DNF players. Mostly they are butthurt
