What would you think about a community Mod in GTA O

What do you think about rockstar having a community Mod program were certain players would be given the ability to place a suspension (or the player into a cheater lobby) on a player if they are cheating, have obviously modded the game or are using excessive exploits? If they did create something like this the suspention, or placement into the cheaters lobby (not sure if that's the correct name for it) would be long enough for someone at rockstar to evaluate if the person that was suspended did infact cheat, mod or exploit the game.

In theroy it's a great Idea and it solves every problem known to man.... but the reality is that everyone problem known to man stops this from being possible.

Yes only Players that have been Verified by R* would be able to do this. I would like to see something like this implemented into the game I was playing the other day and a person with 590XP was in the session but all of their stats were between 0-40.

I would hope it's nothing like WBaker said, because that would be chaos.

 

There is some really crappy races with a one word description, and those get verified.

 

So in this case, there would be some idiot kid tank griefing, and he would get verified... then proceed to slap bans on everyone who opposes him, and Rockstar wouldn't acknowledge it with anything but an auto-response, lol.

I get a bounty kill and suddenly some butthurt little twerp lands me in cheater pool or bans me or you own someone in free-roam and that's you screwed. The ability to kick players from jobs is abused enough as it is - seriously, I was kicked by some brat in a survival because I beat him to an armour pick-up despite me doing most the work. Can you imagine the ego-trip this mod thing would give some players? Very bad idea.

mmm having some sort of person supervising every session would be close to impossible.

 

BUT having some sort of figure of authority in every session may deter people from cheating or using stuff like pussy mode aka godmode.

An idea I had to stop these 12 year old noobs and their tank sh*t. Appoint a few mod (in free roam/mode) with these - full stealth/ammo/armor (basically God mode or better to take out cheaters/hackers too) and ban the no cash f*ckwads until the message is clear. On head sets announce "NO MORE BULLSH*T,GOODBYE".

^^ And this is a clear example why this idea is stupid. As unfair the idea of broke killers is, it is a legitimate gameplay mechanic. And they have no obligation towards anybody, because we are playing on public servers.

 

Congratulations for your power trip - you just banned a player based on PERSONAL issues and not based on GAME issues, without ANY link to any mod or cheat.
