Gauntlet vs Dominator?

Which one do you prefer or think is better?

 

Which one do you choose for races and why?

 

Dominator feels faster than the Gauntlet to me but feels much more difficult to drive. I like the looks of the Dominator more though as the Gauntlet doesn't have many options and looks kind of generic IMO.

 

Anyone race both and can give a honest opinion and facts to which one is faster?

The dominator is an amazing as its a great drift car. May take time to get the handling down but its not too awful.

Also from other thread the dominator is the fastest muscle car.

 

I had a gauntlet once. It was cool to drive sometimes but then got bored of it and traded in for a Phenix. I'll get it back when they add more garage space.

Fully modded Dominator looks and sounds better than a fully modded Gauntlet but a stock Gauntlet is better than a stock Dominator

Wow, we think alike. I had a Matte Black Gauntlet for months. Loved the way it looked.

 

But it was too common and the NPC Gauntlet often spawns in Black so I kinda grew tired of it. But I can't seem to find any colors I like for it thats why I got rid of it.

I prefer the gauntlet. Seems a lot stickier and doesnt have a tail that controls the car.

I prefer the looks of my Dominator, but i would never dare even trying to race in it. The Gauntlet is the better car, but the Dominator is way more fun.

I disnt vote its too hard to say i love both cars and love how the dominator has more customization options and better top speed the guantlet just handles much more smoothly and both have pros and cons but id say for racing the guantlet and dor drifting and customization options the dominator.

I own the Dominator because it's brutal! The Gauntlet is easier to drive and I prefer it on twist races which I'm not super familiar with but on tracks I do know there's few Gauntlets that are able to keep up.

I like the way the Dominator looks way better than the Gauntlet...but I own a Gauntlet to win races.

depends how you drive... if you prefer speed in a striaght over handling in a corner, go dominator..

 

if you prefer the tighter control and know how to overtake while/before cornering (late braking) then the gauntlet all the way..

 

basically if you drive an adder (or a feltzer or 9f), get a dominator, if your an entity (or elegy) kinda guy, go gauntlet.

 

and if you need a challenge... look down

If its about looks, the Dominator's got the Gauntlet's weird hybrid appearance beat hands down. Its a shame they ruined the Challenger's lines by smooshing Camaro into it, but so it goes. The Dominator also has a few more features to allow you to make it a bit different from everyone else.

 

When it comes to racing them, I don't care what the stats bar says, I choose something else.

My lap times are considerably better when I'm racing solo with the Dominator but with other players/racers...It's a different story.

 

Buccaneer is nice to the guy who says he uses it, its extremely stable. But very heavy and not good on tight tracks. Guess you can win races in anything right?

When it comes to driving, I think they're both the same as they're both really easy to drift/powerslide.

Plus after many a race in a Sabre the Gauntlet just seems to handle those races better, imo..

I like em both.

Gauntlet for most races. Dominator for long straight races. Also I love robbing amored trucks with the Dominator. It's just totally bad ass smoking em around the corners running from the cops.

If they had the Dukes in this game. I'd chase em down with my Bullit Dominator..

If the race has a lot of turns, I go with Gauntlet. If not, Dominator.

Personally I prefer the Dominator overall

In a straight line the Dominator crushes the Gauntlet, but throw in a few corners and the Gauntlet will win it.

If you actually wanted to ask what the best muscle car is overall, then both just fall short to the Ruiner.

As for looks, my vote goes to the Gauntlet. It's just so badass.

I wasn't trying to sound like Braggert, but I have been having alot of luck in it today and yesterday.

 

I'm on X-box, if you want to do a 3 race series. I'd like In The Grove or Downtown Underground to be one of the tracks if that is ok.

Mostly an aesthetic choice, though I do favour easy handling over straight line speed.
