Why are there no crews that want to do battles?

GTAO is a fun game, yet you enter a lobby with a crew, they will gang up on you, but if you decide to make things even in a team deathmatch, they're two scared to leave free mode !

 

Anyone else noticed this?

its funny because in other games, one can be a one man army

I love crew v crew on team deathmatch the only problem is you win only you know about as there is no records that keep crew v crews in line heres a question for you how many crew v crews have you been in you then win but have no prove

Crew battles were so much better in MP3. Dissapointed in the way they were implemented in GTA:O

Especially when all they can do is fight in a tank, or use auto shotties / rpg's, I've seen crews quit games when the weapons are forced too. They make excuses about weaker weapons etc, it's pathetic.

XBL...we have some general rules about DM's but it just we dont like runners...but other than that our ratios stay at 6/6 for some reason?

MP3 did it much better, it seems to me R* put all their efforts into making GTAO about individuals making money, rather than crews doing battle. I hope they do more to improve things, you hardly have to go out of your way on other games to find other crews to play !

I was in session the other day, everyone but me was in their crew, they tried to kill me, but I managed to get 3 kills and switch to passive mode before I got killed. 3 of them followed me for about 20 minutes, trying to kill me whilst in passive, I just text them 'reported for griefing'. They just left me alone then.

I don't even report them, I just say it so they leave me alone, 9/10 it works.

Im pretty sure our crew is up for a fight on Ps3.

Like 4v4 6v6 8v8 TDM, Freeroam, Capture, etc.

Same reason free roams are always a war zone.

 

They wanna ambush players, employ the tactic of backing a super car with a bullet shield in the back at you and use tanks.

 

They dun' wanna go against someone who knows they are coming for them cuz it'd hurt their precious k/d.

That back and forth thing is mainly due to none regenerating health..

Makes it near impossible to keep going on and on against someone of same skill as you.

In other games you kill two dudes get full health go at it again. In this kill two guys have an inch of health they respawn kill you. Same sh*t over and over.

I hate to break this to you, but there are no Rambos in real life. The one man army concept is so stupid. I don't even like the spawning into the map around people idea but I can't have everything.

 

I've noticed that people hate losing. They would like to have the fantasy of lobby warfare when in reality it becomes one on ones and hurts your k/d more than helps.

 

Also in DM and TDM the scores are recorded in the GTA Online area of the Crew so you can reference. Whenever someone talks big I just pull up their Crew, reference that area and see if they really are. I always find it funny when you see someone you know is a tank guy with a 2.0+ k/d and when you go to their Crew section they never go much over 1.40 - 1.60 even if they have history.

 

Also, in DM you get paid at the end of the battle and in lobbys you get nothing.

 

Also, health is easier to replenish in an open lobby than it is in a TDM. I know for a fact that real teams on TDM that you can go multiple kills and be in the thick of the battle and be okay.

A lot pick fights for no reason, was cruising with my crew in our rides near sandy shores the other day and two dudes just randomly start following us then they start firing.. so we all gang up on them, killing them 8 times out of 10, eventually a few members of my crew had to leave, was getting late in the day, which left about 4 or 5 of us, by this time the two dudes had give up, one left the other was inactive somewhere, so we got in our rides and drove off.

 

we got about halfway down the freeway and we noticed the other guy still left was following us, so we let rip until we got near richmond i think.. and then we were fighting again.. eventually the dude's friend shows up chatting to him on his mic, the dude started chatting rubbish that he owned us all and that he did nothing. (claims, he saw us all in group together and wondered what were doing so decided to check it out, BS)

 

About a couple minutes later he leaves for his friends new session by which time only 3 of us we left anyway..

 

 

TLDR - two dudes randomly picked a fight with my crew, they get owned, few of the crew members had to leave, we drive off, one dude thats left follows us, his mate joins after and he starts chatting sh*t to him then leaves.
