My first and foremost goal is to become a special needs early childhood educator, however, if I had the time and money to pursue another career choice I think criminal psychology or forensic psychology would be really interesting. I also want(ed) to become a pastry chef until I realized I can self-teach myself all of that and bake at home constantly anyway. My goal still is to one day own my own bakery/bubble tea store as well as an animal shelter! Also maybe learn sign language which will help if I work with deaf children. Heh heh. I'm thinking my goals may be boarderline too difficult, but I really can't pick just one thing I wanna do for the rest of my life. Does anyone else have this problem? Or are you at that stage where you have no idea what you want to pursue and do for your future? I wanted to be a machinist, but lost interest after many rejected job applications. I wanted to work in sheet metal and lost interest for a similar reason as above. But now as my grades aren't doing that well and I'm almost done school, I'm not sure if I can pursue into that career. But, I am currently taking the courses for that career, so I might be able to get into that career if I can boost my grades up to at least an B. Also my mom was also telling me that I should become an detective since I'm alright at seeing gore images and videos and find that kind of stuff really interesting. But I'm not sure what classes you need for that and what kind of school you go to either. Yeah I also wanted to be an artist, that was my first ambition, but as I grew up I didn't think I could make a living doing art. In two weeks I have to find out if I want to study more, or start my career.. I have no idea.. A lot of jobs seem interesting, but when I start thinking of having them for many years and maybe the rest of my life- they aren't good enough and I can't picture myself happy with them. Then I joined the army and did similar things during war... Now, I could not ask for a better more pampered lifestyle. School at ITT for drafting which I am paid to go to, 100% Disability for loosing a limb in war (only took 2 years to get) and a part time (3 days the same as school mon-wed right now) job at whole foods over night. I know the job is not great, but the company truly is, and I have since started shopping there for healthier foods. It is more expensive, but some things are worth it. The only thing I could dream of, is learning how to day trade or invest wisely in big stocks. I also would love to start volunteering my free time to either the local Fire Dept. or Police Dept. I got him from the army TEDD Program, and is a veteran German Sheppard who was struck by an IED. He has all his limbs but has a bald spot on his head and is blind in one eye. sad, I know, but if you could see him it would just brighten the rest of your year. When I was in the wounded warrior project they had a program to get animals like this for moral support... it was literally the first thing I did and I could not imagine life without him now. the local groomer here only charges me $30 to pamper him.... and he is pampered. Your dog sounds awesome, I'm glad to hear that he didn't lose any limbs from the IED (or worse), a little sad that he is blind in one eye/that he got struck by the IED but sounds like you are giving him a nice life that he deserves and that you and your dog were both lucky to find each other.
