New Sultan is a little Lancer-based, judging by the tail-lights, and the Lancer is ALSO featured in WRC videogames.

 

So yeah, it better damn well climb a mountain or it loses the WRC status.

I like the performance, but since it's based on that street car thing Nissan's got going on, I don't think it was made with dirt racing in mind.

 

Also, anyone else notice that the San Andreas Sultan's description in GTA Wiki says that it looks like a Lexus, when it doesn't even remotely look like the mentioned Lexus models?

Infernus is a lot better for climbing.

 

some guy recently made a thread about a 1000m race with each car and could prove that the Entity has a faster acceleration

thus Entity is better for climbing, it must be, since I'm an Entity fanboy and you are not!

I totally forgot that the Sultan was on San Andreas !

I remember now, there is a mission where CJ drives with Cesar and one of them has a Sultan and they're running from the cops in San Fierro !

Yup pretty much. The supercars can pretend... But without AWD, your little pretenders are going to get hung up on a rock or uneven incline.

You do realize the Entity is AWD with a 20/80 ratio right?

I do love the sultan in the hills. The air achieved is insane and it climbs up walls that are almost straight up. To the person who said the buffalo mk2 is better in every way. You have clearly never spent much time up in the mountains. I like the mk2, it's a cool street car. Modded out it's a beastly 4 door muscle car with tons of mods. But put down the crack pipe and step away from the koolaid. It isn't a swiss army knife like the sultan. The sultan drives good anywhere (as do entitys and rh8s).

When it comes to climbing its pretty simple. AWD is better. The entity is a AWD super car so your damn right its the fastest car up the mountain. The sultan isn't a super car but it is almost as fast up a mountain. It feels like it was made for it.

 

Regarding motorcycles. Most of them will out climb a car. But they don't get as much air time since motorcycles tend to have more attraction to the ground. DAT TRACTION!!!

 

To sum it up, nothing gets air like a sultan or entity although a motorcycles additional speed can make amazing things happen.

While I am pretty sure that is sarcasm, related to what I wanna ask. High acceleration is bad for Off-Road right? Realistically and in-game?

Sandking SWB is the best off road vehicle, it go places that smaller vehicles can't without getting stuck or drowning (or being excessively damaged). Entity/Bati 801 are the fastest.

I just finally found a Sultan last week and couldnt play until now.... I honestly dont give a f*ck over which vehicle is better because we all know R* sucks at car balancing, i love the Sultan for its aesthetics and nothing more.

That Guy used his own set of rules. If you rep up the engine of an Infernus it rockets the car forward. He also refused to lean forwards on a bike. Thats like adding a rule to only hold a car half throttle and say its a legit run.

 

And i'm not a fanboy for any kind of vehicle except the Ruiner/Phoenix. Although the Inferus is my fav supercar.

This car is surprisingly good off-road, surprisingly. I haven't driven them back to back in those situations but the RH8 is right up there if not on par.

For those out there who never drove one of this, I totally recommend it, in fact, i've got one of this beauties in my garage.

 

Well, with the Sultan you can basically climb everything, try it on Mt. Chilliad, one of the best Off-road cars.

If I am getting chased by the cops or some other player, I might take my sultan off road, but when I want to go off roading, it's the sand king every time for me.

 

I don't care how fast you climb, I do it in style with minimum to 0 damage.

Yeah, the sultan is a boss offroad and going up relatively steep mountains, but the Sandking is the best when it comes to climbing

Vapid Stanier (Both Generations), DeClasse Granger, DeClasse Granger, Bravado Bison, and the Bravado Buffalo do excellent for off-roading when driven by someone who knows what they are doing. Off-Road Tires do make a difference.

I don't know about Off-Road tires, but the Sandking can deffo climb, even with the gas tank.
