If You Don't Know How To Fly...

Then don't...

Why do people who don't know how to fly or are horrible at it insist on taking the pilot seat when the mission relies on you landing to the aircraft without damaging beyond flyability or destroying it completely?

I don't know how many missions i've been in where we've failed because the person behind the controls don't know what they are doing but they just wanted to be the first one to the plane instead of letting someone who can fly it fly it.

Because maybe, just maybe, they want to learn?

Lol am I right in thinking, bro, that you make a lot of threads bemoaning the skills of randoms in missions?

You must've had some bad luck

Practice in free roam, landing Gear is not the time to Learn to fly. I swear at least 1 player crashes a plane every time I play that mission. Usually from landing east to west instead of the easier west to east.

DON'T LEARN WHEN MISSION FAILURE IS AT STAKE.

There's an entire thing called free r9am with planes and helicopters that you can use to learn how to fly.

I mean really? Come on.

But... But then that wouldn't have any risk of failing a mission...

Crashing the helicopter in Coveted seems to be a favourite passtime of randoms.

They're probably just f*cking with you then.

Surely nobody's that bad a flyer?

But seriously, don't. Can't stress that enough. Free Roam is where you learn, or single player, where there's a goddamn flight school.

Seriously OP, they think its fun to land a military cargo plane on one engine and no landing gear.

IF you need to learn, play the goddamn story mode, you multiplayer-addicted nutjob. They literally suggested flying school twice, so there is possibly no way you could have missed that IF you wanted to learn.

Although even pros have bad days, OP. Nobody's perfect. Even the most frequent driver can crash his car by accident.

I've flown and landed a Titan with only two engines one on each side after a random smashed it into the semi in front of him.

It is fun because you managed to pull off something cool but you gotta know what you're doing to be able to fly it and land it

Reminds me of the time I was doing a mission where I had to fly a plane to some destination, well it happened that I was with another 2 randoms and everything was going well because I had flown the plane before (I think there were 2 destinations) but then one of the f*cking sh*tty randoms gets in the plane while I was fending off the enemies and then just crashes it. f*ck that asshole.

I still recall this one time when you had to deliver planes or something. We were 5 teams, and I was the lowest rank with low flying skill because I just got into the game.

There was about 3 planes, so I took one, while 2 others took two. They said something like "Don't get in his plane" or something like that, referring to me.

Then, I was first to land the plane under the metal structure things in the docks, while the 4 other pricks crashed their plane on said metal structures.

That's right, you goddamn pricks. This low-level is the only reason you're getting paid.

I think sometime people crash the plave as they are trying to show off to the random in the passenger seat by doing barrel rolls or somersaults in the plane.

Well that's one way that I crashed a plane once :/

People are f*cking stupid. Worst is when someone forgets to engage landing gear, I mean seriously how f*cking dense can you be.

Thats usually the the first sign that they don't know how to fly correctly.

From single player or there is a fly lesson mission.

I've had those days - every single turn you make you crash into another vehicle or a stationary object (I hate those f*cking trees), it's like the game is pointing and laughing at you.

I'll admit, upon swooping down to pick up the container on Coveted, the batteries in my controller died.

Worst time ever.

I can land planes in free roam, but not in missions. I feel like there's too much pressure, so I let someone else fly. I prefer using helicopters more than planes, though. I've had a couple of accidental crashes happen in Coveted, because of the map disappearing. Like certain areas turning grey, then it pops up as normal and there's a tree or tower I can't dodge in time.

This is why you can hold Triangle or Y to jack the little sh*t out of the pilot seat.

No you can't

When I grind Coveted I usually have about 9 people wanting to grind with me and it's first come first serve, so when one of them decides to be a retard and rush for the cargobob just to make it do backflips and blow it up, it's pretty irritating. I can get the crate within 10 seconds without hitting a single thing every single time, yet I'm forced to sit here while they attempt to turn it into a boat.

i love it when we all get in a plane on that one mission where we have to steal the jet on the beach. i get everyone inside, fly completely straight up, and then go straight down.

And what does that make u feel? Do u feel like you've completed a difficult goal or something? Does it make you feel like a badass reinacting 9/11 onto the ground?
