I dont see how this really relates to GTA 5 but the majority of my older friends know my first name while none know my last name. Although we all know each others names, we still refer to each other by screen names (I'm always called Fail :D) which is funny because I call one of my friends Poo.

There is a nice story i have to tell you. In Modern Warfare 2 i had some beef with another player, and we were trashtalking. I asked him if he knows about boxing, and he said he was training in one of Englands best gyms, doing MMA. I looked up this gym ( Rob Locks ) and there were like three of them in England.

 

I googled his ID & found his abandoned twitter profile with his real last name. Then i looked up some online telephone books & searched his name in Halesowen, Stourbridge, and Kingswinford, where the gyms are located. Finally i found him, and i asked him: 'Hows Beverly?' and he was like: :O Where do you know my mom from? Where are you? Who are you? How do you know my name? How this? How that? He nearly pissed himself, and was close before calling the police as he said.

 

I told him im not living there, i am not even british & live in Germany. He wouldn't believe.

man my real friends dont know my real name, never-mind my gaming friends... ive got friends ive known for 10 years in real life that have absolutely no idea what my real name is,,, and after a decade i still wont tell them...

 

yall can call me mo (its short for mo-hawk)... thats the end of it :)

I literally just had a party with two of them a couple of days ago.

 

LOTS of alcohol, especially jagerbombs. No hangover thanks to a huge pizza but I ended up sleeping for 16 hours straight afterwards.

I've had people ask me if Lucius Aelius was my real name before... I don't think anyone's been named something like that in 2000 years.

 

And no my online friends don't know my real name, it's not exactly a secret but I don't tend to broadcast personal details over the internet too freely by default, better to be safe than sorry these days.

I put my first name in my Xbox profile, as a few of my online friends have. Also so some little horndogs don't think I'm a girl when my character is. But they still ask for my number anyway.. Wtf?

I'll never reveal my name. Or my address. Even my ISP routes my internet through an encrypted proxy. The government has spied on my internet and even tapped into my phone calls before. I think I may have been added to a watch list. I was using TOR to download some uh.. stuff and a day later, they called me on the phone and my only response at the time was that I was at work so I couldn't have used my computer and that there was no one at home. All along, I have been downloading some less than legal smut.
